Finally, after many denials and dogging, the Kapoor Khandan confirms the wedding of #SonamKapoor to #AnandAhuja. The duo is all set for their big fat wedding which is scheduled for May 8, confirmed a joint statement from the Kapoor and Ahuja families.
The statement read, "The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives".
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have barely been off the trending list for the last few days, with fresh rounds of rumours popping up every so often. The duo is frequently spotted together, both on social media and in real life ad now finally getting hitched on 8th May 2018.
The Kapoor residence is decorated with festive lights. Celebrities like Farah Khan, Karan Johar and Masaba Gupta are seen dropping by Anil Kapoor's home for wedding preparations. Farah Khan and Karan Johar are in charge of choreographing Sonam's Sangeet.
Sonam Kapoor is also busy promoting Veere Di Wedding, - the first ever Indian commercial drama revolving around 4 female best friends and their turbulent life choices!
Kareena Kapoor Khan plays a bride-to-be in the film, and her trippy band of best friends which include Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania. Actor Sumeet Vyas plays the groom along with other ensembles.
Female buddy comedy film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh. The film is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network, and Saffron Broadcast & Media Ltd.
The film is slated for 1st June 2018 release.
