After being in the industry for 25 long years, finally, the actor has been conferred with the Padma Shree. Dhanush starring Asuran start rolling today on the auspicious days of 70th Republic Day! The actor took to his social media and confirmed the same. He tweeted, “#Asuran shoot starts from today”

Malayalam actor Manju Warrier will be playing the female lead in the film. It will also mark her Tamil debut. It is said that Dhanush will appear in a very different get-up in the film.

Actor Dhanush also dropped the first look poster of the film. He captioned it, “#Asuran FIRST LOOK @theVcreations @gvprakash @VetriMaaran”

In the first look poster has him in the air, wielding a spear, his forehead marked with layers of thilak and a scowl on his face. The film is reported to be based on a Tamil novel called Vekkai written by Poomani. The novel is a revenge drama that traces the fight of an oppressed community.

It was announced that GV Prakash Kumar would be composing music for the film and Velraj is the cinematographer. Asuran will be bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu, who was also the producer for VIP 2.

The film Kesari is an upcoming period war drama film. It stars Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles and directed by Anurag Singh.

It tells the story of Havildar Ishar Singh who participates in the Battle of Saragarhi (in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897) while yearning for the respect of his estranged daughter.

This groovy and rap number is crooned by Naved Shaikh aka Naezy. This is a whole new promotional series to introduce the original Gully Boys in a capsule series.

Gully Boy is about an aspiring rapper from a ghetto in Bombay and his journey from realising his love for rap, to chasing his dream, and to inadvertently transcending his class. It is been reported that the film is inspired by popular rappers Divine and Naezy.

Gully Boy is a musical drama film, directed by Zoya Akhtar. It stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The movie also stars Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz, Vijay Varma and Amruta Subhash.

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor graced the launch of Kunal Rawal’s flagship ship store launch here in Mumbai.

ELKDTAL is first of its kind movie, which features real-life father and daughter – Ani and Sonam – as on-screen father and daughter.

The upcoming film is all about same-sex relationships. Sonam plays a girl from a small town who falls in love with another girl. Rajkummar, on the other hand, plays the part of Sonam’s lover who later on goes to become her best friend.

Raizada interacted with media for the release of 'Total Dhamaal's first look poster.

The first look of Total Dhamaal is out on the day of Makar Sankranti. The poster features one of the lead actors Ajay Devgn and partner in crime Crystal.

When asked about the film's first poster coming out, Niharica said, " I just love the poster, Ajay looks fab in it and his partner in crime Crystal is going to create waves in Bollywood".

Total Dhamaal will be Crystal's Bollywood debut. The primate little monkey has been the Hollywood star for a long time, she was seen in films like Hangover 2, George of the Jungle, Night at the Museum and more.

Nihharica added she hopes the film will fly as high as her kite will on Makar Sankranti.

"Makar Sankranti marks the end of winter and it is a day in the Hindu calendar dedicated to the worship of the god Surya. I think it is very auspicious for the poster to release today. May our film fly as high as my kite will fly today for this festival."
