Madhuri Dixit was interacting with media at the promotion of upcoming dance reality show titled ‘Dance Deewane’ along with co-judges Shashank Khaitan and Tushar Kalia on Thursday in Mumbai.

When asked Madhuri whether she is supporting contestants who belong to specific genre, she said, “No. there is no such genre. I want best dancer to win the show. People will get surprise after seeing amazing talent in adult generation and in young generation, we found some amazing dancer who specializes in classical dance forms so, I was very surprised and happy with that”

Talking about USP of the ‘Dance Deewane’, Madhuri said, “The specialty of ‘Dance Deewane’ is, its first time in a reality show, there is no age limit. People of any age can participate in this show. In the show, three generations will compete with each other that are children, youngsters and adults. In all three generations, we have found some amazing talent”

“I was very surprised when we found some amazing adult participants who can give tough competition to young generation, so there will be tough competition in the show.”

Recently, Salman Khan and entire star cast of ‘Race 3’ came to ‘Dance Deewane’ to promote their film, talking about that experience, Madhuri said, “For ‘Race 3’ promotion, Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor came to our show with their entire star cast. They had lot of fun on the show. Salman was in special mood so, he was dancing with each participant then the competition started between Anil Kapoor and Salman to see who is more active and energetic among them so, we had lot of fun while shooting for the show”

Reacting to ‘Race 3’ trailer, Madhuri said, “It’s a dhamakedaar trailer. Cars are trying in the trailer and it is looking very intriguing”

Harbhajan Singh was interacting with media to promote his upcoming digital talk show ‘Bhajji Blast’ on Friday in Mumbai.

In ‘Bhajji Blast‘, Harbhajan Singh will be seen as a host who will interact with international cricketers so when asked Harbhajan what kind of blast will happen on his talk show, he said, “There will be blast of laughter and audience is going to see things which they haven’t seen earlier. In the show, audience will see cricketers delivering dialogues, singing songs and dancing. It’s basically about having fun and talking about our lives and what we do on and off the field”.

When asked Harbhajan whether cricketers gets uncomfortable sharing their personal incidents in the show, he said, “They would have got uncomfortable if an unknown person would have asked some personal questions to them. There are many stories which I know personally but I want that stories to come out in public through the show so, when I ask such questions to them then usually they don’t get uncomfortable because I ask those questions to them by engaging them into random talks so they automatically give answers to that question but at the same time, I make sure that I don’t trouble them so much that they don’t want to come my show for the second time”

When asked Harbhajan who surprised him on his talk show, he replied, “Jadeja (Ravindra Jadeja) surprised me a lot. I didn’t think that Jadeja will have such amazing sense of humor. He actually made me laugh so much. I felt like I was the guest on his show. When I told him to deliver a line in Gujarati then he improvised it and said something else only and after that we were laughing so hard. Apart from him, Bravo (Dwayne Bravo) was brilliant. I think every individual has unique personality. It has been a great journey. There are lots of cricketers against whom I have played cricket but through this show, I had the opportunity to know them better”.

Bhaskar was present in Mumbai for a promotional interview for the forthcoming film, "Veere Di wedding'.

'Veere Di Wedding,' which talks about four childhood girlfriends and their life stories is just a commercial film and not about an issue said one of the lead actress, Swara Bhaskar.

"I don't think, every women-centric film has to be about an issue or any needs to come out with a social agenda. I do think such films need to be made, and people need to know about the issues. I come from the same background but not every film need to be about an issue. We can have a commercial film about women where everyone is having fun and while doing all of that maybe say something different and that's 'Veere Di Wedding'."

The 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' actor said she is excited about the film's release because it is a special film for her.

"I am very excited for this film because Veere di wedding is a very special film for me. I have played a role like this before, I haven't played a rich character before which is out and out glamorous. And also I think to do a lead role in the mainstream commercial film next Kareena and Sonam is a big deal. So far I have only played supporting roles in commercial films."

Swara was seen sporting a white  Atelier Zuhra dress on the song launch of the film 'Veere di wedding'. When it turned into a meme about the famous Nirma girl from the washing powder advertisement, Swara joined the crowd for a few laughs, she said, "I thought it was funny when you become a meme on the internet, it means you have arrived. It means you are on the public's mind. I thought the Nirma one was very funny."

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film revolves around four friends attending a wedding. It stars Kareena Kapoor as one of the leads who is getting married, along with friends as Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania who have their own stories to tell.

Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao star in Prakash Kovelamudi's psychological thriller, Mental Hai Kya and now Amyra Dastur comes onboard and have started shooting already!

It has been reported that Amyra will be playing the love interest of Rajkummar Rao in the upcoming psychological thriller. The film is written by Kanika Dhillon and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Shailesh R Singh's Karma Media.

Amyra, the actress was last seen in the Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Roy Kapur starrer Kaalakaandi earlier this year. Another film in the pipeline is Leena Yadav’s Rajma Chawal where she plays the rebellious love interest of Rishi Kapoor’s on-screen son. The actress has already completed the shoot of the same.

Amyra Dastur is also part of Hindi remake of Telugu super hit film Prasthanam, titled as Prasthaanam alongside Sanjay Dutt and she will be seen playing Ali Fazal’s love interest in the film.

When asked who she would like to play her role if there was a male version of 'Veere Di Wedding,' Sonam said, "I would want Hrithik (Roshan) to play my role."

Sonam daughter was veteran actor Anil Kapoor and sister of producer Rhea Kapoor when asked what would she be doing if not acting, she said, "If not an actor I would still be in the film industry may be as a director or a writer. At one point I also wanted to be a part of the media also. That's why I like journalist so much. Kareena Kapoor Khan who is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, 'Veere Di Wedding' was asked if she thinks the film will change the trend in films. "It's not about setting a trend but I definitely think that there will be a change in the way people think. The directors will know that now we can actually tell stories on friendship and love from a girls point of view."

When asked about the positive response the film's trailer has been receiving, Kareena said, "People loved the trailer because of the language used is very different. 'Veere Di Wedding' is a very progressive film. We have seen such film from the hero's point of view if it is 'Dil Chata Hai' or 'Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara' and if you look at this film, this is the first time the story is about 4 childhood girlfriends and what they are going through in their life. Student of the Year 2 is an upcoming college drama flick, directed by Punit Malhotra. It is a sequel to the 2012 film, Student of the Year. The film is distributed by Fox Star Studios and produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions.

“I am really grateful to all my actors for having faith in me and believing in the film so strongly that they didn’t even think much about their remuneration,” says director Karan Lalit Butani. He adds, “For instance, Jackie da charged just a little more than a penny for this film, if I may say so. What he charged my producers was marginal compared to what he gets in the industry otherwise and most definitely deserves. That’s the case with all the actors who worked with me on this film. All of them charged almost half of what they charge otherwise. And Mahie Gill didn’t even charge a single dime for the project.”

Newton landed the second highest number of nominations, the Best Film category in common with Tumhari Sulu. They will also be competing with movies like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Hindi Medium and Toilet - Ek Prem Katha.

In the Best Actor (male) category along with Rajkummar Rao,Irrfan Khan, who is currently under treatment in London, has also been nominated. Other contenders are Akshay Kumar for Toilet - Ek Prem Katha, Ranbir Kapoor for Jagga Jasoos and Adil Hussain for Mukti Bhawan. 

Late Sridevi scored a nomination in the Best Actor (Female) category for MOM which also won her the National Award which was received by her daughters Janhvi and Khushi and husband Boney Kapoor. Other contenders For IIFA best Actress include Alia Bhatt, Zaira Wasim, and Bhumi Pednekar.

Ram Kapoor was present at the launch of his upcoming show, 'Zindagi Ke Crossroads' on Tuesday.

In almost a two-decade long career, he has essayed the role of a loving husband, a doting father, a shrewd businessman and also played a double role.

When asked if he will be using his experience in producing anytime soon he said, "I have thought about it. But when your career is going well and you are busy all the time, I don't think it's the right time to produce (shows) because whenever I do decide to produce, I would like to do it fully. I would put all my time into that. And for that, I have to stop acting. Right now is not the time to do that because acting is going well."

Talking about the film, Kareena said, “ I think the story is something I got completely obsessed by and I thought it was really cool. And I think who better than this entire team, to put this film together. So I think this was the reason I wanted to do Veere Di Wedding. And as far as my character, Kalindi is concerned, I think she is a really cool character and there is a reason why she is commitment phobic, which we will be seen in the film”

Further adding about her character, she said, “She (character) is not commitment-phobic that made me picked up the role. I think what made me take up this part, for me, as a commercial mainstream actor, who is always used to work with mainstream actors, be it Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan. For me, it was very different to be part of a film with four girls”  

Kareena Kapoor is known for working with A-list actors in Bollywood, but this time around she is paired opposite TVC actor Sumeet Vyas.

Sharing her funniest memories on the sets, actor Kareena said, “I think it would be throwing Sumeet Vyas off the moon in the film. I think that was quite funny because I have never done that in my career. I never had the opportunity to throw a hero off from a moon. So thank you, everyone, for giving me this chance, I am sure it will go down in history”

Ekta Kapoor along side  producers Reha Kapoor and star of the film, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania were present at the music launch of the film on Tuesday.

When talking about what is special about the film lead by four female actors, Swara Bhaskar, "It has been 105 years to our industry and first time mainstream Bollywood is making such an Hindi film in which has the life story of four girls who are friends and nobody is falling in love with the same guy, and that is what is special about the film."

Kareena along with co stars, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania and producers, Ekta Kapoor and Reha Kapoor was present at the music launch of the film on Tuesday,

Kareena Kapoor Khan who has worked opposite A lister actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan when asked how different was the expreience this time with the film she said, "I have chosen the A-lister heroines this time."

The 'Udta Punjab' actress while talking about feminism said she is as proud to be called Saif wife as she is of herself.  "I believe in equality, I wouldn't say I am a feminist but I would say I am a woman but above all, I am a human being. I am as proud to be a known as Saif Ali Khan's wife as I am to be Kareena Kapoor."

When asked which is the funniest moment in the film that she loved to shoot, Kareena reminisced throwing Sumeet Vyas of the moon prop scene which can be seen in the film's trailer.She said, "I have never had the opportunity to throw a hero off the moon so thank you, scriptwriters, for giving me this chance. I think it is going to go down in history."

Know to not shy away from the media when it comes to talking about her personal life is said to be playing the role of a commitment phobic when asked what drove her to chose such a different character she said, "The thing that made me take up this role was that I think for a commercial mainstream who has always worked with other mainstream actors like Shah Rukh or Salman for me it was very different to be a part of a film with four girls. The story is what I got completely obsessed with and I thought it was really cool I think who better than this entire team, to put this film together. This was the reason I wanted to do this film, and as far as Kalindi (her character name) is concerned, she is a really cool character and there is a reason why she is commitment phobic which we will see in the film."
