Talking about her entering Bollywood after her success in Television Kritika said it wasn't an easy change. "This wasn't an easy transition. 'Word to Screen Market' presented by Jio MAMI Mumbai film festival is championed by Sonam Kapoor held the third year edition this week.

'Baarish Aur Chowmein' is a Hindi feature film starring Amit Sadh and Taapsee Pannu, directed by ace filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia.

The story revolves around Siraj who is unable to rent a house in Mumbai as not many are willing to accommodate a Muslim. So, he hides his true identity and finds a home, where he falls in love with the landlord’s daughter, Neelu.

Baarish Aur Chowmein is part of a project where six Indian directors and six Pakistani directors make movies based on the common theme of love. It premieres on August 31 and will be aired on ZEE5.

He said, “Tariq Khan has handled the plot of the film successfully; this is a very unusual plot and has been handled beautifully. The filmmaker doesn’t make films like this, they just cannot get over the entertainment genre. So when someone comes up with a different kind of cinema, it is essential that we support him and I have supported Tariq Khan.”

Further adding, Mahesh Bhatt said, “Tariq Khan is good and decent human being. He came to me with this role, and he insisted that I take up this role. And I have always supported new and honest talent, and Tariq is one such guy. I liked him immediately; he came straight to the point in a very simple manner.”

“He explained the character to me, I am playing a Muslim father, whose is living alone and his son lives in the USA. And he keeps a Hindu boy in his house a tenant. Tariq has treated this relationship very sensitively, especially in a city where people reach that point of giving up on life, commit suicide. So there was this message for these people, to keep on living and struggling with life. I liked that message a lot because suicide is such a reality which society hasn’t deal with. I think we are in danger from ourselves, so I liked this core as well.”

Filmmaker Kiran Rao interacted with media on Thursday at the Third Edition of Word to Screen Market by Jio MAMI.

When talking about Word to Screen market and what they are aiming at, Kiran Rao said, "This was a very productive meet, this is the third year of  Word to Screen Market. In the last two years, we have sold many books and stories for Tv shows and movies such as Indira by Sagarika Ghosh. This has also lead to talks between publishing houses and producers which was our aim all along. We wanted to create a space where these two industries meet and can create new content."

'Word to Screen Market' allows untold stories, also literature, to be translated in unique formats for the consumption of global audiences.  The two-day event, where over 200 books will be presented in a Publishers choice list, is championed by Sonam Kapoor.  

When asked if there are any opportunities for regional writers, she said, "We are presenting some 36 titles here, which is the short list but we also have a long list of 174 books. We have loved all these books and think it has the potential for cinema and series. This year we looked into 8 different languages of books and ended up presenting 4 different languages."

Recently news was viral that a cheating case has been filed against Hrithik Roshan and eight other people in Chennai's Kodungaiyar area. The complaint was filed by stockist R Muralidharan stating that Hrithik and other 8 men conspired against him to dupe him of Rs 21 lakh.

In the video, Nandita Das talks about creating the world of Manto, which was the most challenging and daunting task. Bhardwaj interacted with media at the song launch of "Pataakha" along with actors Sunil Grover, Radhika Madan and Sanya Malhotra, and singers Rekha Bhardwaj and Sunidhi Chauhan on tuesday.

While talking about his experience working on the film and with a new cast he said,  "As far as experience of working in this film is concerned, I really had fun making this film because the kind of energy was there on film's set was amazing. From many years, I have been working with stars, so I felt so liberated after making this film with comparatively new cast."

Adding about his casting choice he said, "I wanted to cast new people in this film because the kind of commitment I was seeking in this film would have been given to me by new actors only." 

"Pataakha" is a comedy-drama film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj about two sisters who share a difficult relationship with each other.

'Hard Hard' is in the voice of " Mika Singh, Sachet Tandon & Prakriti Kakar composed by "Sachet-Parampara" and the lyrics of this new song are penned by "Siddharth-Garima".

A leading publication house ran a story, which stated that Hrithik Roshan tried to flirt with newbie Disha Patani, even texted her asking out on a date but things didn’t pan out well. However, according to superstar Hrithik Roshan, the story is fake and holds no merits.

The story talked about the age difference between Hrithik Roshan and Disha Patani, and despite the massive age difference, the senior actor was trying to flirt with the newbie.

Boman interacted with media on Monday after inaugurating a painting exhibition titled 'The Vibrant Earth' by singer Chandana Dixit along with Anup Jalota.

Asked about his upcoming film 'Made in China' with Rajkummar, Boman said, "I am really excited to be part of it. In fact yesterday, Rajkummar Rao came at my house where we started rehearsals of the film. I am excited to work with him as well. He is a good actor. He tries to do something different in his every film.

The actor was the spotted at Filmistan studio in Mumbai in the look of a Naga sadhu. The actor had earlier wrapped up the Rajasthan schedule of Navdeep Singh’s Hunter.

The story is about a sadhu (Hindu ascetic) who is out for revenge. Saif was spotted in the get-up of his character. However, with his dreadlocks and beard, the actor looks menacing.

He is seen wearing a red and black unbuttoned, waist-length jacket, a bandana to keep his dreadlocks in place and a pair of dhoti-styled churidaar. His eyes are lined with kohl.
