Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj dropped the new song, Balma on his social media profile from the forthcoming earthy flick, Pataakha. He captioned it, “Gundo balma ke nek balma? The song shows the relationship between the two sisters, Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan, who for a change put down the gloves and battle it out with lyrics. The song has been sung by Rekha Bhardwaj and Sunidhi Chauhan, composed by Vishal and with lyrics written by Gulzar.
Touted to be a comedy-drama, the film will focus on the true nature of the sisters’ relationship after they get married and live their separate lives. The film also features Sunil Grover in a pivotal role.
Based on Charan Singh Pathik's short story titled Do Behnein, the film also features Saanand Verma and Vijay Raaz in lead roles and is scheduled to have its theatrical release on 28 September 2018.
