When asked if Alia had the chance to see the biopic, 'Sanju' yet, she said, "I have watched the film, I loved it a lot. It is an outstanding and fabulous film. The film is high up in my fave top ten films. Ranbir is outstanding, Vicky and Paresh Ji are amazing. I think having everyone Sonam, Anushka the film is a full package. I am a big fan of Raju Hirani. Whenever his films come out I just wait and everytime he manages to hit it out of the park.  Sanju is one of the best film we have in the past couple of years."

After unveiling a romantic track ‘Ishq Di Baajiyaan’ and ‘Soorma’ anthem, the makers of ‘Soorma’ released the third track ‘Good Man Di Laaltain’, which is a complete fun song celebrating love and life. Crooned by Sukhwinder Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan, the song is full of energy and we get to see Taapsee Pannu, Diljit Dosanjh and Angad Bedi dance like never before.

Shaad Ali’s biographical sports drama ‘Soorma’ based on the life of Hockey player Sandeep Singh, apart from being a gripping film is also going to be a musical treat for the audience as we have none other than Gulzar as the lyricist and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy as its music composer.

Diljit Dosanjh plays the lead role. The story chronicles the life and struggle of Sandeep becoming national champion but due to a tragic accident, he gets paralyzed and bounces back through sheer determination and spirit.

Talking about his step-sister Janhvi Kapoor’s Hindi film debut ‘Dhadak’ opposite Ishaan Khatter, Arjun said, “I think the kind of appreciation and love Janhvi (Kapoor) and Ishaan (Khatter) is getting is because of texture of that film so, the entire credit for that should go to Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan. Janhvi and Ishaan are well brought up kids.”

Recently, Arjun Kapoor turned 34, amidst birthday greetings from family and fans, Arjun also received an envelope from his paternal grandmother Nirmal Kapoor, written with a “shadi jaldi karo” a day after his birthday. Whatever I have till done till date has been appreciated so I am very thankful to the audience.”

Bhumi’s poignant portrayal of a maid in Zoya Akhtar’s contribution to the Netflix anthology film ‘Lust Stories’ has been widely appreciated, sharing her experience working with filmmaker Zoya Akhtar in ‘Lust Stories’, Bhumi said, “I have been a huge fan of Zoya Akhtar and it was a big thing for me that I had opportunity to work with her. It a short film of 20 minutes and as an actor, I really had fun when I heard the script of that film and I realized that it’s a challenging role and I really like to take challenging roles.”

John Abraham and Akshay Kumar will clash at the box-office this 15th August, as Satyamev Jayate and Gold are releasing on the same date. Now John opens up about the clash and says that two movies can release on the same date, as there are enough screens in India.

Talking about Akshay Kumar being upset with John Abraham, the actor said, “Akshay Kumar is a friend, and I wish him the best, and as a producer, Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani can correct me if I am wrong, I think two films can release on the same day. There are enough screens for two films, both the films are different from different genres, they can release on the same day”

Sania Mirza was interacting with media along with Mithali Raj and Neeti Mohan at the launch of United Nation’s Women's anthem "Mujhe Haq Hai" as United Nation’s goodwill ambassador in India and South Asia on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Sania touched on the subject of parity in prize money for men and women in the sport. "Till today we fight for equal prize money, we have to justify why (as) a tennis player we should make the same prize money that the men do.. so that means this inequality is everywhere in this world, not just in this part of the world".

 “When we come out and try to speak about it, we are labeled as feminists and for me, that word just doesn’t do it because why we don’t speak about man who is speaking about men’s rights but if any woman speak about female rights or feminism, people call them as feminist but I don’t think I am feminist.”

Sania Mirza recalled the contribution of her parents when she took up the sport, and how they dealt with people's jibes and mocking.

"I started playing tennis when I was six years old, at a time when a girl playing tennis in Hyderabad was unheard of. I came from a family full of cricketers, including my dad," said Sania, who is married to cricketer Shoaib Malik.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan as 'Dhadak' based in Udaipur is an official remake of Nagraj Manjule's Marathi blockbuster 'Sairat'. When asked what he feels when comparison are drawn between 'Sairat' and 'Dhadak', and between the common factor of both the film -- 'Zingaat' song--, he said, "Comparisons are bound to happen with 'Sairat' because our film is official adaptation of that film.

Nawazuddin was at the 19th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, where he bagged the Best Supporting Actor honour.

The film marks the Bollywood debut of Malayalam star Dulquer and popular web series actor Mithila. Irrfan, who is currently in London getting his treatment for neuroendocrine cancer, had tweeted a while ago about the film welcoming the newbies to the Hindi film industry.

Today is the 180th birth anniversary of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the Bengali literary giant who is today best remembered for penning the words of 'Vande Mataram', the National Song.

Produced by Remo’s production house, Nawabzaade, will also star Raghav Juyal, Punit Pathak and Dharmesh Yelande in pivotal roles and is a dance-based venture.

The actor gave us a glimpse of their song High Rated Gabru by sharing several pictures from the set. Sung by Guru Randhawa, High Rated Gabru will be peppy track and will be the actors’ special appearance in the film.

Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing a grey character in the third installment of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster series. The actor shared the motion poster on his social media profile. Needless to say, Sanjay Dutt is looking dapper in the motion poster. He is seen sitting on the table with a gun in his hand and booze on the table. A true small town badass villain!

The third movie in the franchise is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and also stars Jimmy Shergill, Mahi Gill, and Chitrangada Singh among others. The flick will hit the big screens July 27.

The makers also released a new poster featuring Janhvi and Ishaan from the song as seen in the film's trailer. Almost a year ago Karan Johar acquired the remake rights of Nagraj Manjule's Marathi blockbuster Sairat now being directed by  Shashank Khaitan as Dhadak based in Udaipur.
