Ishaan Khatter interacted with media along with his co-actress Janhvi Kapoor and director Shashank Khaitan at 'Zingaat' song launch from their film at a radio station on Wednesday.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan as 'Dhadak' based in Udaipur is an official remake of Nagraj Manjule's Marathi blockbuster 'Sairat'. When asked what he feels when comparison are drawn between 'Sairat' and 'Dhadak', and between the common factor of both the film -- 'Zingaat' song--, he said, "Comparisons are bound to happen with 'Sairat' because our film is official adaptation of that film. 

Filmmaker and producer Karan Johar released the song on his social media profile. He wrote, “Come on! It’s time to do the #Zingaat! Song out now, Contest to start soon! The song is adapted and rehashed from the original film Sairaat, the maker has kept the title same, but this new song is whole lot peppier and upbeat than the original and with smashing dance routine from Ishaan and Janhvi, the song will climb the chartbuster in no time!

Dharma Production's official twitter account announced the song's release with a new poster. The caption read, "Get your #Zingaat on because we're coming for you tomorrow! @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @KuttySujay #Janhvi #Ishaan @ShashankKhaitan @ZeeStudios_ @AjayAtulOnline @OfficialAMITABH @ZeeMusicCompany #Dhadak"

The makers also released a new poster featuring Janhvi and Ishaan from the song as seen in the film's trailer. Almost a year ago Karan Johar acquired the remake rights of Nagraj Manjule's Marathi blockbuster Sairat now being directed by  Shashank Khaitan as Dhadak based in Udaipur.
