It will feature ensembles from 13 designers or labels like Akaaro, Antar-Agni, Eka, Good Earth, Neeru Kumar, Nicobar, Pero, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Raw Mango, Rohit Bal and Suket Dhir, read a statement from FDCI.

The news was announced through a statement, which read that the "association of PPP and Ministry of Tourism Sikkim was possible due to the unwavering support of the local government led by Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling".

Shedding light on the incident, Bipasha, in an open letter, said: "The deal was made with a set of agreed conditions. However, when I landed there for the project as planned, I realised that the organisers hadn't honoured their end of the bargain, in spite of confirming with my manager that they had."

Having agreed to travel on a hospitality deal, Bipasha said that "never was I treated so badly".

"My self-respect holds the highest value and I refuse to be a victim of bullying or arm-twisting. They expected me to hold true to my end of the bargain, whereas they had completely defaulted at their end," she added.

The organisers claimed they suffered loss of 7,800 pounds, apart from Bipasha's travel expenses, but the actress refuted it.

Addressing the audience at the launch event of the Ramesh Sippy Academy of Cinema & Entertainment, he said: "I wonder if you remember a scene in Sholay where Jaya (Bachchan) had to light a lamp in the corridor and I am sitting in the outhouse playing the mouth organ. There was particular kind of lighting that was required for the shot. Our DOP Mr Divecha was keen to take the shot at the time of sunset. You would not believe that Rameshji spent almost three years before we finally got that shot."

"Every time we would go to enact that sequence, something would not be right with the lighting. And Rameshji said 'until we get a correct light, we are not going to shoot this'. We waited for three years for one flash of a shot for the film," the 73-year-old actor added.

Unfazed, Awhad warned that if RGV didn't apologise, he would lodge a formal police complaint against the filmmaker.

"This is my character, an exciting one, and has the capacity I think, to be a great villain. And what all the great ones can do is polarise an audience. When I was a kid, I always rooted for the villain. As a kid, I think I would have rooted for him and I think fans will," Manganiello told Robert Irvine magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Manganiello also expressed his excitement to work with actor Ben Affleck, who will play the protagonist, and with Geoff Johns, who worked on the screenplay.

"I've known them all for years and I'm very excited to work with everyone. Ben Affleck makes great films and he's a great Batman. Geoff Johns certainly is a really fun guy to hang around with and has a great grasp on this steering wheel that is the Titanic of the DCEU. Sippy has introduced a graduation programme at Mumbai University in association with Garware Institute. Ramesh Sippy Academy Of Cinema and Entertainment (RSACE) has a tie-up with Mumbai University, wherein the students will be getting comprehensive knowledge and graduating with a degree in various aspects of film production and entertainment.

"It is very difficult to say where it all began. In my heart, I always wanted to do something like this. You got something from the industry which would stand in time. In my own little way, I will be contributing to the future of the film industry," Sippy told over phone from Mumbai. 

The graduation programme is in five different streams -- B.A. in Film Art (three years), B.Sc. in Film Technology and Production (three years), B.Sc. in Screenwriting (three years), B.Sc. in Animation (three years) and B.Sc. in VFX (three years).

Sippy says it is a "place where degrees are going to be given to deserving students who perform well in their class". 

"No one likes it (public scrutiny). But it is okay as it is a part of my job. I have chosen this job. If I didn't like it, I would have chosen something else. I can't go out and say that 'I don't like it'," Disha told over phone from Mumbai. 

Disha, who has been roped in as the brand ambassador of Pond's, says she doesn't like to mingle much, and is a shy person. 

"I am an anti-social person. I am a very shy girl, but that's okay. People want to know about it (star's life) if you are coming on screen, and are coming on a public platform. It doesn't disturb me if the focus is on my work," she said.

Mamgai, who walked the ramp on the popular classic "Pretty Woman" by Roy Ornison, donned a white hand painted gown embellished with Swarovski and an over seven metre long trail and veil at the ongoing forth edition of India Beach Fashion Week 2017.

About the showstopper dress, Mamgai told: "I have been a model for the past six-seven years and I have never seen an outfit so big... it's very nice that I have worn it...the sheer amount of dedication that has been put into this outfit.. I have tried doing justice to it."

The duo showcased a wide range of cascading skirts, jumpsuits, halter tops, dresses and gala gowns in shades of blacks, whites and reds for their line "Noir Love".

Leon told that it took them 1500 man hours to create the showstopper's look.

"The technique was dividing it into parts... first it was hand-painted then treated with chemicals...So that it can be dry-cleaned...it has been highlighted by Swarovski crystals, which have been put by hand...We used 60 to 70 yards of cloth to bring together this masterpiece," he added.

There were a couple of abuses that were sanitised and that was because of the censor code (rules), Mukherji and Bhatt told select mediapersons in a chat here ahead of the launch of the trailer on March 14.

"In fact, they had gone against the code for various words and they allowed them. They said the film has forced us to contextualise those words which otherwise would have been a strict no-no," Mukherji said when asked on the film facing any issues with the censor board. He said it was a "reasonable" act on the censor's part.

Revolving around four women -- a burqa-clad college girl, a young beautician, a mother of three and a 55-year-old widow who rediscovers her sexuality -- "Lipstick Under My Burkha" features actors like Ratna Pathak Shah, Konkona Sen Sharma and Aahana Kumra.

"As India's diverse array of talented filmmakers continues to be recognized around the world for their compelling and daring work, IFFLA is extremely proud to collect the best films from emerging voices and experienced masters and present them to Los Angeles," said Mike Dougherty, Director of Programming, in a statement.

"Lipstick Under My Burkha" has been deemed too "lady oriented" in content and according to the censor board, it is laced with sexual scenes and abusive words. But this is also a film that won a gender equality award at the Mumbai film fest last year, and recently won the Audience Award at the Glasgow Film Festival.

IIFLA, which will conclude with Shubhashish Bhutiani's directorial "Hotel Salvation", will also features documentaries like "The Cinema Travelers", "Machines" and "An Insignificant Man". There will also be 10 short films in nine languages including Gurvinder Singh's "Infiltrator", Amar Kaushik's "Aaba" and Sonejuhi Sinha's "Miles of Sand".

A popular filmmaker, TV show host and now also an author, Karan will, be on the other side of the coffee table.

The session, Love Beyond Boundaries, is likely to be interesting given Karan's fatherhood as well as his book "An Unsuitable Boy", in which he spoke on his sexual orientation.

Rakul Preet, on the other hand, in a very different take on Women's Day, asked in a video why we remember women, their achievements and their struggle just for a day.

In the study, healthy people aged 65-77 who drank concentrated blueberry juice every day showed improvements in cognitive function, blood flow to the brain and activation of the brain while carrying out cognitive tests.

Evidence also suggested improvement in working memory, the researchers said, in the paper published in the journal Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism.

In a tete-a-tete with film critic Anupama Chopra for digital platform Film Companion, Rajamouli opened up about the scale of "Baahubali: The Conclusion", about the journey with the epic historical fiction franchise, his life as a director and his future plan.

What to expect from the second part of "Baahubali"?

"First part is introduction of characters, we haven't really gotten into the plot. The characters are established and we've given all a hookline. The first part was starters and the second part is the actual meal," said Rajamouli, who dabbles in Telugu language movies.

The National Award winning director has spent five years with the franchise.

"Personally, I prefer to focus on couture and do fewer events and make them special. Therefore, I participate in couture weeks and do my stand alone shows whereby I can create everything based on the inspiration of the collection and create a spectacular event," Varma told.

Varma has been been in the fashion industry for over two decades and has showcased his collections at various fashion weeks. He is currently here to showcase his latest collection at the fourth edition of India Beach Fashion Week 2017.

He feels there are too many fashion weeks taking place in India.

"My opinion is divided. Personally, I feel there are too many fashion weeks in too many cities and they essentially become a marketing and PR plan for corporate sponsors. On the other hand, a fashion week in a two or three tier city will definitely bring about an opportunity for a young designer to realize his dreams on the runway," he said.

Lovato announced Batman was on Instagram with a post on Twitter on Monday night.

"It's official: my dog has an Instagram," she tweeted.

Dalmia showcased menswear and womenswear of over 25 ensembles for his latest collection La Moda, at an offsite venue here on Tuesday. The show started with a lot of drama, where two models were seen lip-locking.

The range consisted of layered and trailed gowns, asymmetrical dresses, gloves, hair fascinators and netted gloves while menswear collection boasted about low crotched pants, pencil fit pants, suits and sailor stripes. 

About his collection, Dalmia told: "It is inspired by the vintage era or the fashion era...We are using peach, wine greens, blues... cuts are a little crazy,we are using lot of trails, frills... It's a fusion of the past with the future...I have taken the silhouettes from the past and beautiful cuts of the future."
