They dated for nearly five months.

The pair met while Rose was dancing with Val's brother and choreographer Maksim Chmerkovskiy on "Dancing With the Stars" last year and first sparked romance rumours after being spotted together at a birthday party in October 2016.

According to a source, though the duo have separated for now, Lopez and Drake are keen on giving it another chance "in the future".

Amphetamine is a stimulant and is associated with cardiovascular system effects, including speeding up the heart rate, sharply increasing blood pressure and boosting the risk of stroke, heart attack and aneurysm rupture.

Long term use of amphetamine sends the sympathetic nervous system and production of the 'fight or flight' hormone adrenaline into overdrive, the study said.

The researchers found that the effects amphetamine were seen in both men and women and irrespective of other potential risk factors for heart disease and stroke.

"The study implies that recurrent habitual amphetamine abuse ages the cardiovasculature and likely the whole organism generally. It is therefore conceivable that stimulant abusers do physiological and cardiovascular harm," said Albert Stuart Reece, associate professor at University of Western Australia.

The findings, led by researchers at University of Rochester in New York, found that omega-3 fatty acid products can reduce the production of IgE -- the antibodies that cause allergic reactions and asthma symptoms in people with milder cases of asthma.

Once ingested, the omega 3 fatty acids convert to special pro-resolving mediators that halt inflammation without suppressing the immune system. 

However, in patients with severe asthma who use high doses of oral steroids, the omega-3 fatty acids were found less effective because the corticosteroids block the beneficial effects.

Previous studies have shown that certain fatty acids contained in fish oil regulate the function of B cells. 

The findings demonstrated that the brain's own opioids are directly involved in musical pleasure.

In the study, when the researchers prescribed naltrexone -- a drug widely used for treating addiction disorders -- the participants no longer elicited feelings of pleasure for their favourite songs.

"This is the first demonstration that the brain's own opioids are directly involved in musical pleasure," said Daniel Levitin, cognitive psychologist at McGill University in Canada, in the paper published in the journal Scientific Reports.

Divya Mehta, co-founder of skincare brand Epique, shares tips to keep in mind when deciding on a good night cream:

♦ It doesn't need to have the word ‘night' to describe it: The difference between a night cream and any other is that it doesn't have UV protection or any sunscreen ingredients in it. Hence you don't necessarily need to use a cream that uses the word ‘night' to define it. So long as the cream does not contain sunscreen, works well with your skin type and is rich in active ingredients, you are good to go!

♦ High concentration of active ingredients: Look for components such as boswellia serrata, coffee bean extract, centella asiatica, andrographis, liquorice, coleus forskolin, horse chestnut, oils, vitamins like E and C and other antioxidants to name a few (in your night crème). In addition to these, actives need to be highly concentrated to address specific mature skin issues.

♦ Deep penetrating and light weight in texture: Ensure the cream texture is light, penetrates deeply and is comfortable for your skin. Try avoiding creams that sit on the skin's surface and don't get absorbed well, causing the skin to feel oily.

♦ Choose a night cream that is compatible with your skin type: This step may require some trial and error. Whether your skin is oily, dry or combination, there is a perfect solution for you out there. Find a moisturizer that is compatible with your specific skin type. Try testing the cream on the back of your hand before you buy it. The product should sink into your skin easily and leave a dewy look. That is a good sign that this cream may work well for you.

The findings showed that mathematics -- a subject that is known to trigger strong emotions in students -- impacted their academic performance for years.

"Successful performance in math increased students' positive emotions and decreased their negative emotions over the years," said Stephanie Lichtenfeld from the University of Munich in Germany.

Students with higher intelligence had better grades and test scores, but those who also enjoyed and took pride in math had even better achievement. 

While, students who experienced anger, anxiety, shame, boredom or hopelessness had lower achievements.

"In contrast, students with poor grades and test scores suffered from a decline in positive emotions and an increase in negative emotions, such as math anxiety and math boredom. Thus, these students become caught in a downward spiral of negative emotion and poor achievement," Lichtenfeld added.

For the study, published in the journal Child Development, the team studied 3,425 German students from grades five to nine belonging to different socio-economic backgrounds, whose annual assessments of emotions and achievement in math were evaluated.

Akshay plays the role of lawyer Jagdishwar Mishra aka Jolly in the Subhash Kapoor directorial, which released on Friday.

Vidya shared an image on Twitter on Friday, in which she revealed the release date of the film.

"14th April it is," Vidya captioned the image.

The film was earlier slated to release in January, but the makers postponed the release date.

Vidya plays the title role of the madam of a brothel in the film, which also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Rajat Kapoor, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Ila Arun, Ashish Vidyarthi and Chunky Pandey.

Producer Suresh Jha said here on Friday that he decided to knock on the PMO's doors after the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) communicated its final decision in writing on Thursday.

"They asked us to 'Get an NOC from the Prime Minister's Office and Election Commission'...I think this must be the first time the PMO or EC are expected to preview a film and clear it before the authorised body, the CBFC, certifies it," he said.

"Submit NOC from PMO regarding PM's portrayal/references through a character in the film resembles... (The film portrays development plans, references to Pakistan's Uri attack, news and speeches related to the PM)," the CBFC note said.

Undeterred, Jha wrote a letter to the PMO asking for an 'NOC' to comply with the CBFC demand.

"Throughout our film, we represent the honest working of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his dream of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Smart India and Digital India," the letter said.

Titled "Brewing in Byculla," the food walk was organised in collaboration with the Kala Ghoda arts festival.

"The participants visited some of the most historical eateries of the city and also experienced the evolution of public dining scenario and emergence of cafes and restaurants in Mumbai," the organisers said in a statement.

Actor Raj Kummar Rao on Thursday night took to Twitter to share the release date of the upcoming film. 

Raj Kummar was in news for his diet that he consumed for the film. 

The "CityLights" actor, who plays the role of Shaurya in "Trapped", reportedly had to appear weak in the film. So he went under a rigorous diet of black coffee and two carrots a day for about 20-22 days.

Currently, Rajkummar is in Berlin as his film "Newton" is in the line-up of the 47th Berlinale Forum, which is a section of the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival.

"I am not a trained actor, but I think that has become my strength. People like the fact that I am a spontaneous actor and that works in my favour," Pannu said during a press conference in the city on Thursday.

The seasoned South Indian actress, who started her Bollywood career with a comedy "Chasme Baddoor", is set for the release of another romantic comedy "RunningShaadi.com" produced by city boy Shoojit Sarcar that talks about helping people elope with the love of their life to get married.

Talking about her character Nimmi in the film, Pannu said it was effortless for her compared to the breakneck roles she played in her previous ventures as the girl in the film very much resonates with her own self.

Speaking at the Kirori Mal College Alumni meet on Wednesday to raise funds for reconstructing the college's auditorium, Kabir said: "The series was started by me, and Ali is taking that forward. I feel very happy for him. He was my assistant and my close friend too."

"As Yash Raj Films has the rights of the series, so Ali will be directing the second instalment. He will go with his vision of 'Tiger', though the characters and the basic set-up will be the same. What are the challenges when acting?

"I am a debutant and I don't know about challenges. I just blindly follow the instruction given by directors.

"It's up to the writers who write brilliantly-shaped scripts and they are the ones who decide what we (actors) should do. I think the entire credit should go to the writers. 

"Even in 'Dangal', if it would not have been a brilliant script, I don't think I would have been called a good actor," she added.

"I don't do films to bring changes in people's minds. I do films which I believe in. So I present the films which I believe in. If anybody likes the film or not, that depends on people," Akshay told ahead of the release of his new courtroom drama "Jolly LLB 2".

With a smile reflecting fulfilment on his face, the 49-year-old "Khiladi" of Hindi cinema added: "I did a film called 'OMG - Oh My God!' because I don't believe in idol worship. I believe god is within us. I feel why are we wasting milk by pouring it over god's idols... Rather than that, we should give it to some poor person.

"A lot of people tell me that they liked that film and now don't follow the same (don't believe in idol worship)."

But Akshay said it has never been a deliberate attempt by him to make "films to teach".

"I do films which I like to think about personally," he said.

While one can witness the emphasis on comedy as a genre and patriotism as a theme in some of his recently-released films like "Airlift", "Housefull 3", "Rustom" and "Baby", Akshay has come out of his comfort zone after a long time to try his hand at a different genre -- courtroom drama -- with Subhash Kapoor's "Jolly LLB 2".

The true tale follows a 5-year-old (played by Sunny Pawar) who gets lost on the streets of Kolkata and is adopted by an Australian couple. Then, as an adult (played by Dev Patel), he goes to find his lost family.

"'Lion' is a beautiful film. It moved me deeply. (Sunny and Dev) are both outstanding ... and Nicole Kidman's monologue, in which she tells her adopted son the truth about his adoption, is the most powerful scene (and) another exceptional performance. I loved the moments when Saroo's past and present seem to fuse," Rushdie told pagesix.com.

Garth Davis won best first-time director for the film at Directors Guild Awards, and Greig Fraser got the top award from the American Society of Cinematographers.

"When people ask me what the story is, when you get to a line or two people go wow, it's kind of fun because a lead astronaut on a mission to Mars doesn't realise she is pregnant and that's where people go wow, so you have already got a good hook. That's an unusual premise," Chelsom said in a statement.

Further talking about the theme of the movie, the director, who has helmed movies like "Shall We Dance" and "Serendipity", said: "It's a big movie and it's a very universal movie and the theme is completely universal."

"The Space Between Us" is an interplanetary adventure featuring two young lovers, one from Earth and one from Mars. 

The change in release date was announced in a statement on Tuesday.

Presented by Eros International and produced by Allumbra Entertainment, Wave Cinemas and AB Corp, "Sarkar 3" is the third film in Varma's "Sarkar" series.

"Sarkar", which released in 2005, is set in the world of Indian politics. Its sequel "Sarkar Raj" hit the screens in 2008. 

"Sarkar 3" will see Amitabh reprising his role as Subhash Nagre. The film will also feature Rohini Hattangadi, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Ronit Roy, Bharat Dabholkar, Yami Gautam and Amit Sadh.

At the launch of Skechers GoFlex Walk Range here on Wednesday, the actor said: "I would love to take the venture forward. I remember that I was talking to my director Stanley Tong in China and he was very happy.

"He said, 'We are planning to have 'Kung Fu Yoga 2''. I agreed with him. 'Kung Fu Yoga' should have a series and continue to come again and again," added the actor, who features in "Kung Fu Yoga" with international star Jackie Chan.

About the response to the film, Sonu said: "We all are very glad to see that the film is receiving so much love. Everybody loved the film, especially the kids. They are watching it again and again."

At the premiere of the Oscar-nominated film "Moonlight" on Tuesday, Mukerji spoke about his film which is tentatively titled "Dragon".

Mukerji, who earlier directed Ranbir in films "Wake Up Sid" (2009) and the 2013 blockbuster "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani", said: "We've not yet locked the title. It is tentatively called 'Dragon'. Somehow the word got out and everybody started asking me about the film's progress."

Explaining the reason behind the title, he said: "The boy has some mystical connection with fire. Fire is the symbol of power so, I called it 'Dragon'. Let's see... I am not 100 per cent sure about the title, but I like something about it."

The director shared that rather than a superhero film, he would like to call the movie a "modern-day fantasy love story".

Hrithik took to Twitter and wrote: "Contrary to the rumours I have not parted ways with my management team led by Afsar Zaidi. They (Afsar zaidi and team) have been part of my journey since last 10 years and they continue to propel the growth of HRX with renewed strength."

However, the actor has worked on strengthening the team.

"Regarding endorsements, I have teamed up with KWAN and together we build from hereon," added the actor, who is riding high on the success of his latest film "Kaabil".

At a fundraising event for NGO IDA (In Defence of Animals), Raveena said: "I think this is very good cause by IDA to sterilise the stray and rescued animals. It is a community service. We bring those animals who are injured and hurt in accidents for treatments."

"Regarding this, an awareness is very much needed as I believe compassion is very necessary for every human being."

Raveena's children Rasha and Ranbirvardhan, who were made 'cub ambassadors' through an initiative called the Compassionate Kids Club, were also awarded at the event on Tuesday.

Raveena said: "My children made handmade bracelets and collected Rs 50,000 for the organisation as part of the Compassionate Kids Club (CKC), so they both got felicitated."

The designer, who has been bestowed with the prestigious Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur by France, will visit the palace of Queen Elizabeth II on February 27.

Arora says it's an honour for him to represent India.

"It is such an honour and privilege to be chosen by Her Majesty to represent India at the reception celebrating a wonderful initiative. India and the UK have such a deep history and this cultural exchange is a great way to strengthen the relationship between our homelands," Arora said in a statement. 

This year, India and Britain are celebrating a major bilateral year of cultural exchange. 

The veteran designer added that "this is definitely a dream come true and I couldn't have asked for a better start to the year".

These women are also more at risk for cerebral infarction, in which a section of brain tissue dies due to reduced blood flow and oxygen. 

"Early menarche might predict the incidence of stroke rather than the mortality caused by stroke," said Takayoshi Ohkubo, Professor at Tohoku University in Japan.

In addition, women who stopped menstruating at 45 or younger are also more likely to get cerebral infarction, but not stroke, compared to women who began menopause at the age of 50.

For the study, published in the journal Neuroepidemiology, the team followed a group of 1,412 postmenopausal women in Japan.
