Shankar Mahadevan was interacting with media along with Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendosa  to promote their upcoming film 'Raazi' in Mumbai.  Talking about positive reviews for music of 'Raazi', Mahadevan said, "There is huge difference between true appreciation and  getting 1 million views for the song. I think you can get those views very easily because it has become possible in today's day and age which I don't want to talk. I feel real reaction of audience is really precious and that you can't compare it with anything else which I think music of 'Raazi' has been able to achieve".

Veteran lyricist and writer Gulzaar is known for working with selective music composer in latter part of his career so, talking about experience working with Gulzaar, Mahadevan said,   "It is blessing for us that we get an opportunity to create music with him in 'Raazi'. While composing music for the film, every day, we used to eat together and discuss different issues apart from music.

We can freely ask him to change a certain word to fit in the song and he is so open and cooperative in his working that whatever suggestion you give him, he is ready to implement that  and I also feel that it takes time to create such kind relation with him. If you want to establish such kind of relationship with the person like Gulzaar saab or Javed (Akhtar) saab then, first you have to prove yourself  and I think we have managed to do that and that is the reason why  he entertains us otherwise we will not be able to stand in front of him"

when asked Mahadevan what kind of challenges he and his other two colleagues faced while composing songs for 'Raazi' , he said, "Each project is challenging. when you have to justify the script then as a music composer, you have to take lot of efforts in terms of detailing of the songs. There is one song in 'Raazi' titled 'Dil Baro' for that, we had do lot of research of Kashmiri folk songs and then we had to use Kashmiri musical instrument in it. It is challenge to incorporate essence of that region, era and circumstance in the songs but without that there isn't fun in the song. If you see title of 'Raazi' relates with Afgani or Kashmiri music but at the same time, it is for Bollywood so as a composer, we had to maintain those settings"

In an earlier interview, talking about ‘102 Not Out’ which is based on senior citizen, Amitabh stressed that senior citizens should not be marginalised but treated with dignity and respect. He said, “Senior citizens are very respectable members of the society. We need to treat them with a lot of dignity and respect. I hope that with this film we can convey it to the common man and audience.”

Talking about the film, director Umesh Shukla said, “It’s a youthful film, it’s just that the central characters are old. It’s a love story between a father and son. It would have been preachy and the message wouldn’t have come out so beautifully if I had cast younger actors. The play has been running for six years and 70 per cent of the audience are youngsters. The message of the film is, ‘Logon ki life mein happiness ka quotient zyada hona chahiye. With that, the rest can be managed.”

“The film is about living your life to the fullest despite difficulties. It shocks me when I hear about students committing suicide after failing in examination or people ending their lives after being spurned in love. On the other hand, there are people suffering from serious diseases who yearn to live normally, but sadly, their bodies don’t support them. Aapko itni khubsoorat life mili hai, but you don’t want to enjoy it over petty issues. People are stuck in their past and keep complaining that ab woh maza nahi raha. I would like to tell them, ‘Mazaa abhi bhi hai, but you have locked yourself and invited loneliness.”

Swag Se Swagat featured Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, the song was crooned by Vishal Dadlani and Neha Bhasin, the score was composed by dynamic duo Vishal and Shekhar.

The action thriller was directed and co-written by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film also starred Sajjad Delfrooz, Angad Bedi, Kumud Mishra, Nawab Shah, Ivan Rodrigues, Girish Karnad and Paresh Rawal in supporting roles. Raazi is a period thriller film directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Vineet Jain, Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat, about an Indian spy married to a Pakistani military officer during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

Actress #MallikaSherawat has expressed her displeasure over increasing number of rape cases in India and she has said that from the land of Gandhi, we have become land of gang rapists.

Mallika was interacting with media at the special screening of 'Daas dev' on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Recently, India's cabinet has approved the death penalty for rapists of girls below the age of 12 after countrywide uproar on Kathua and Unnao rape case, reacting on that development, Mallika said, "We are not lawmakers. People from bollywood can't enforce a law. We can only give an opinion and I think what's happening with women and children of this country is absolutely shameful. From the land of Gandhi, we have become land of gang rapists and I think it's the media in the country that is really a strong force today so all hopes are pinned on the media. If it's not in the media then nobody would know about these cases and I think because of pressure from media these new laws have been enforced so we are really thankful to the media for this"

"It's a relief that now at least system of the country is working towards it to control these crimes. We haven't been able to protect women and children of our country and I have been reading about such kind crimes on daily basis in news papers so, I am really happy that justice will be served to poor girl"

Karishma was interacting with media when she visited underprivileged kids from Smile Foundation on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Talking about her experience working with actors in her upcoming film 'Hotel Milan' Karishma said, "It was great learning experience for me while shooting for 'Hotel Milan' because the actors with whom , I am working in this film is really next level actors. Rajesh Sharma, Kunal Roy Kapur  and director Vishal Mishra was very supporting and cooperative and In future also, I want to work with such kind of amazing people. The trailer of the film will release soon and I hope film would like the film."

Ralking about her upcoming projects, Karishma said, "'After release of 'Ragini MMS', Ekta Kapoor offered me 'Kapoor's show opposite Kushal Tandon. It will release around end of May  and I am also doing a film called 'Hotel Milan' opposite Kunal Roy Kapur. It will release in June."

Talking about her character in 'Hotel Milan', Karishma said, "In 'Hotel Milan', I am working with Kunal Roy Kapoor, Zeishan Quadri, Rajesh sharma and Zakir Hussain and it is directed by Vishal Mishra. In that film, my character is completely different from my bold and glamorous character of 'Ragini MMS Retuns'.  I have really different UP (Uttar Pradesh) dialect in it . I earlier lived in Bihar for 3 years so. it was easy for me to pick that particular dialect. I am playing really nice and interesting character  so,  I am very excited for the film. In 'Kapoor's show also, my character is very ambitious."

While talking about choosing 'Veere di Wedding' as her comeback film Kareena said, "I have been part of many ensemble films but this was very special and that is why I wanted to be a part of it. So I had to call her in two months and tell her that she needs to take someone else but I think the fact that they decided to wait and go with me is amazing. It's their support that kept me going and later on it was Saif who pushed me to the gym. The Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, was embroiled in controversy and has been delayed three times as the KriArj Entertainment and JA Entertainment had some financial and creative differences, but it is all settled now and the movie will finally release.

The upcoming patriotic drama film is directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Zee Studios, JA Entertainment and KriArj Entertainment. The film is written by Saiwyn Quadras, Sanyuktha Chawla Sheikh and Abhishek Sharma.

Amitabh Bachchan hasn’t revealed the name of the film but reports suggest that this could be his look from Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt-starrer Brahmastra.

Big B also talked about his forthcoming comic caper “102 Not Out” with Rishi Kapoor, and expressed that working with co-star has been glorious.

He wrote, “It was as glorious, as it was all those past years and the historic films we did together! It’s not like we were separated at birth and were meeting after 27 years!!”

Talking about the film, Big B wrote, “The script and character analysis that was narrated to me by the Director Umesh Shukla and the Writer Saumya Doshi, was to play a youthful 102...an attempt has been made!”

Recently Big B suffered shoulder injury on the sets of “Thugs Of Hindostan” and talks about his physical well-being. He wrote, “I have had some injuries during my work recently, which persist. These are related to some old action injuries of the past, catching up as the body ages. Treatments are on and to expect the body at this age to repair completely is wishful thinking...so one stumbles along.”

An athlete all his life before his acting career, Vivek recalls how Salman's songs were the driving force while he was growing up, “I grew pretty fast and one of the tallest kids in the school. I did play a lot of sports back then so I was tall but skinny. Then came Salman Khan Revolution back when we were in school. Every girl I knew was crushing over him and his body.”

“To be honest, I was fascinated with the way girls & boys alike would react when he took off his shirt in Oh Oh Jane Jana. I made my mind back then that I'm going to have a body like him.”

“But I was too young to start weight training back then. I was still in school. So I collected few bricks from a construction site & hid it in my room & would wait for my parents to leave & I would lift the bricks & train. It clearly wasn't a good idea & I don't endorse it. Talking about Spa playing an integral role in her weight loss, Bhumi said, “The physical transformation I have done over last 3 years, I’d gotten myself plenty of massages and spas. But I think generally fitness is extremely important, it holistically evolves you. It keeps you mentally healthy. So spa and fitness should be important in everybody’s life. After knowing Sanjay Dutt for all his life when asked if he made special observations to portray the character he said, "I have always been a Sanjay Dutt fan, for me, it was a fan trying to play his icon. so I think the hardest thing I did was give myself the confidence that I can play this man. When Raju sir told me about this film I didn't have the confidence because I thought I wouldn't be able to do it. I don't have the courage; don't have the understanding or the acting chops to do it. 

This is not an acting gig for me. I haven't tried to show goof acting bad acting or showcase my talent. I think it was just the opportunity to be part of a story of a person who I consider to be my icon.

When asked out of the 6 chapters of Sanju's life, which one was difficult to portray, Kapoor said, "The difficult one was which id dint expect was the young Sanju, because there were a lot of facets that we had to show first the drugs then coming out of it, then his mother's death and the most fun was Munna Bhai's phase and I enjoyed doing it.

On touch base with Omkar Kapoor, he says, “Kaushiki is exceptionally amazing script and Ankush's character was a great role to play as hes got hidden secrets like the others as well... ALTBalaji is constantly creating content that’s path-breaking. Bringing yet another compelling concept is the next #ALTBalajiOriginal titled ‘Apharan’ and the very talented Arunoday Singh has been signed up by ALTBalaji to play the lead.

The show is a suspense thriller and revolves around Arunoday’s character – who once a celebrated cop, is now a tainted criminal. With a gripping plot, the show is filled with twists, turns, mysteries and web of lies.

Speaking about his association with ALTBalaji and the show’s concept, Arunoday said, “I’m very very excited about Apharan. It appealed to me the second I met Siddharth Sengupta and heard him tell me this story with so much passion and skill, I had to be a part of it. I’ve got very fond memories of Balaji from my Main Tera Hero days. It’ll be a pleasure working with them again, with their digital platform ALTBalaji."

The show will be produced and directed by Siddharth Sengupta, who has earlier directed popular shows like 'Balika Vadhu' and 'Gulaal'. The show is in its pre-production stage and will go on floors soon.

Akshay Kumar and Pooja Chopra are the faces of “Happy Heart India” – an initiative of Asian Heart Institute that gives a chance to 200 underprivileged children to receive free heart surgery. Akshay Kumar launched the campaign on 7th April, the World Health Day and actor Pooja Chopra came on board soon after, to encourage India to follow healthy heart habits.

The campaign urges readers to ‘Save a Heart’ by nominating an underprivileged child they may know, who is below 12 years of age and needs a cardiac surgery but has no means to pay for the surgery. 

The campaign #HappyHeartIndia is built around multiple content pillars through interviews that will amplify the importance of inculcating healthy heart habit.

Speaking about the initiative, Akshay Kumar shared, “I am delighted to take this message of ‘have a heart to save a heart’ all over India.This campaign is about surgical interventions for the underprivileged- in the spirit of community service."

Pooja Chopra, actor, former Miss India and Miss World beauty with a purpose added, "Its high time we defined the behaviours and habits we need to adopt if we are to become happy citizens of a hearty India.The age of onset of heart disease is getting younger, and this is a cause for grave concern.”

The film has been written and directed by Sudip Bandyopadhyay and produced by Samira Bandyopadhyay.

The story is a reminiscent tale of a family in Mumbai whose lives are explored through an endearing cinematic journey. The plot revolves around the Srivastava family whose lives are affected by the senior most member of the family, Nagesh (Naseeruddin Shah) whose obsession with his traditional copying machine, called Mr. Soennecken,  starts to take a toll on the relationship of the entire family.

It’s a simple story of human emotions explored through the intertwined lives of each family member. With the family revolting against Nagesh’s old ways, the film tells the tale of the transition between the old and the new, explored through the ideas and idles of three different generations.

The official Twitter handle of Fox Star Hindi dropped the much awaited teaser on social media. They captioned it, “Presenting the #SanjuTeaser…one man, many lives! #RanbirKapoor @RajkumarHirani #RajkumarHiraniFilms @VVCFilms.”

In the teaser, Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt starts narrating his life and some of the most crucial and defining moments in series of montages. The teaser begins with Yerwada Prison, where the actor was incarcerated for the longest.

Ranbir Kapoor in titular role does justice to each part and has done body work, like muscle gain and weight gain for the role.

The Sanjay Dutt biopic, Sanju, chronicles the journey of the star, becoming a film star, and witnessing some dizzying heights and darkest depths: adulation of diehard fans, unending battles with various addictions, brushes with the underworld, prison terms, loss of loved ones, and the haunting speculation that he might or might not be a terrorist.

Sanju is in turns a hilarious and heartbreaking exploration of one man’s battle against his own wild self and the formidable external forces trying to crush him. It depicts the journey of a man through everything that life can throw at him. Some true stories leave you thinking “did this really happen?” This is one such unbelievable story that happens to be true.
