After winning accolades and awards for his majestic performance in #Rustom as Naval Officer, Actor #AkshayKumar is putting up his naval uniform from the film for auction; the proceedings from the bid will support the cause of animal welfare.
Akshay, who won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in "Rustom", just updated the auction on his social media account. The actor shared a photograph with caption, "Hi all. I'm thrilled to announce that you can bid to win the actual naval officer uniform I wore in 'Rustom'.

"Rustom", a period thriller, is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. It also stars actress Ileana D'Cruz. The film is based on the real life incident of Naval Officer K. M. Nanavati and businessman Prem Ahuja.

Kesari is a war drama film based on the Battle of Saragarhi in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897. It also stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role and directed by Anurag Singh.
Gold is a historical period sports drama film directed by Reema Kagti, Starring Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh and Sunny Kaushal. It is a fictional story set on the backdrop of true incidents about India winning its first gold medal in hockey as a free nation in the 1948 Summer Olympics.
