US celebrity chef and television personality Anthony Bourdain has been found dead in his hotel room; aged 61, of an apparent suicide. Bourdain was filming an episode of his CNN series Parts Unknown near Strasbourg in France when he died. The chef was a best-selling food, fiction, and nonfiction author.

Veere Di Wedding Actress Sonam Kapoor wrote a praiseworthy message for the chef. She wrote, “Sometimes life throws you curve balls and you don’t know how to react. Bourdain was possibly the best communicator of our times, he entertained, educated and made the world including me fall in love with food. The veteran actor will not only be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Sanju' where he plays the role of actor turned politician Sunil Dutt, he also confirmed to be playing the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a biopic which goes on floors in September this year and now he will also be playing yet another real-life hero in Vicky Kaushal-Yami Gautam's upcoming film 'Uri'.

The actor shared his unbelievable transformation for the part of National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval.

Mr. Doval is a true legend in the world of “Intelligence” and he was the National Security Advisor during the surgical strike in 2016, he has also handled complex issues like Mizo insurgency and the release of IC 814 hostages from Kandahar. Operation Black Thunder-II that was launched to flush out militants from the Golden Temple in 1988 was under him as well.

Doval also became the first police officer to be awarded the second-highest peacetime gallantry award, the Kirti Chakra, for his exploits during that operation.

Filmmaker and producer Karan Johar shared the new poster of Dhadak and confirmed that the trailer for the film will be out on 11th June, 12 Noon. Dhadak is an official remake of the hit-Marathi movie Sairat directed by Nagraj Manjule. The Hindi remake is being helmed by Shashank Khaitan, previously known for directing Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The film is a co-production between Zee Studios and Dharma Productions.

The movie is shot exclusively in Rajasthan and certain part of Mumbai. It is love story interlaced with caste system in India. The movie marks debut for Janhvi Kapoor and Bollywood commercial drama debut for Ishaan, as the actor has worked with Majid Majidi in “Beyond The Clouds”.

The film is scheduled to release on July 20.

The trailer of much-awaited sports biopic Soorma, based on Indian hockey player Sandeep Singh will be out on 11th June.

The movie narrates the inspiring story of the veteran, who was paralyzed and used a wheelchair for two years after an accidental gunshot injured him in 2006. Fighting against all odds, Sandeep got back on his feet and made a comeback to international hockey in 2008. India won the 2009 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup under his captaincy and went on to qualify for the 2012 Olympics.

Diljit Dosanjh will be seen playing the titular role of Sandeep Singh, with Taapsee Panu and Angad Bedi also will be seen playing hockey on the screen for the first time.

The web-series is based on a school boy and his love for his English teacher. The premise of the series will be Meerut. Applause Entertainment is bank-rolling the project.

Rasbhari by Applause Entertainment will be a 10 episode series set in local culture and flavor of small town Uttar Pradesh. It will feature Swara as Shanoo, an English teacher in a Meerut school who has caught the attention of a class 11th student Ayushmaan Saxena. The series will be helmed by Nikhil Bhat.

It will be Swara’s second web outing after the successful ‘It’s Not That Simple’, which has been renewed for a second season with Sumeet Vyas joining the cast of the Voot series.

Damaged stars Amruta Khanvilkar as the seductress, Lovina – a promiscuous, brutal and remorseless serial killer, and Amit Sial as Abhay – a ruthless, angry and trigger–happy cop.

The story begins with the disappearance of a famous painter. Soon the cops realize that his case is just the tip of the iceberg, there are numerous other young men who have gone missing and have never resurfaced. Investigations start and a suspect emerges – Lovina. This turns into an intriguing cat and mouse game between Lovina and the police, led by Abhay.

The show is directed by Aarambhh Mohan Singh and produced by Ekant Babani owned Alligator Media Productions. Damaged also stars Shruti Ulfat, Anil Mange, Dhruvaditya Bhagwanai, Amit Gaur, Rohan Shah and Shreyes Lowlekar, among others.

Stree pairs Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor for the first time in a horror genre film, helmed by Amar Kaushik. The film is written by Raj and D.K who have earlier directed and written films like Go Goa Gone, Happy Ending, Shor in the City and A Gentleman.

The 'Omerta' star Rajkummar Rao earlier released the teaser of the film. The video shows that the story is based on a ridiculously true phenomenon. The camera travels through a dark village which shows graffiti on house walls reading O Stree Kal Aana, and then finally #OStree31stAugKoAana when a flying shadow appears on the wall.

The teaser does not feature the lead stars and does not give a vibe of a comedy, but a true horror film part from its tag line 'Mard ko Dard hoga'.

The official Twitter page of Sacred Games just shared the trailer of the web-series. Their caption read, “Victory will come at a price. #SacredGames premieres 6 July”

Sacred Games is a story of betrayal, glamour and grit that’s set against the ever changing backdrop of Mumbai featuring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte.

The series revolves around a contemptuous Mumbai city cop Sartaj Singh (Saif) who is tipped off on the location of crime lord Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin). As the lives of these two men collide, it exposes the trappings of a bigger game than the both of them.

Sacred Games is based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 thriller novel Sacred Games. The series will be produced in partnership with Phantom Films. All eight hour-long episodes are to be directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. The show is one of the seven Netflix Indian Originals in production.

The official handle of Drama Production just shared a candid first day picture from the film. Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan are seen in their movie avatars along with Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar.

The movie Simmba is a remake of Telugu film, The Temper and the leading pair, Sara and Ranveer have kick-started the start to finish schedule of the cop comedy in Hyderabad today.

The team will shoot at Ramoji Film City initially, post which the two month long, start to end schedule will move to a few other locations across India. Apart from Ranveer and Sara, the ensemble cast also features Sonu Sood and Ashutosh Rana too.

Buzz is that Ajay Devgn is expected to make a special appearance in Simmba too and it can become a stepping stone towards a Singham – Simmba crossover franchise, which would be a first of its kind for Bollywood.

Akshay Kumar took to his social media account and shared the news with fans along with a Chinese poster of “Toilet Ek Prem Katha”.

The movie will releases in China on 8th June, the total number of screen allotted are 4300, which is a massive number! Earlier Bajrangi Bhaijaan got the biggest release in China so far with more than 8000 screen count.

Shree Narayan Singh directorial film is a satirical comedy in support of governmental campaigns to improve sanitation conditions in India, with an emphasis on the eradication of open defecation, especially in rural areas.

According to sources, the agency has questioned Kundra about other people he involved to promote Bitcoin. But now the Raj Kundra issues a statement clarifying his role in the whole scam.

Varun was interacting with media on Tuesday at #SaveTheBeach clean-up drive on the occasion of World Environment Day at Juhu beach. He also launched the first bottle crusher at Juhu beach.

While talking about #SaveTheBeach the 'October' actor pleaded that we need to keep our beaches and country clean. He said, "Genuinely we should keep our country and beaches clean. We have been provided by dustbins and bottle crushers on the beach and we should be using them. We should practice citizen policing, if someone litters around you, you can pick up and throw it in the dustbin."

Reminiscing his childhood the Varun said, "I have spend all childhood at the beach here, but as years have gone by pollution and garbage has taken over the beach. As a child even i must have thrown garbage but now that we have grown up it is time to teach our kids not to do the same. We should not be littering at the beach or the road."

After 'Raazi' Alia has now associated with Star Plus for the reinvention of the channel and its logo.
