#RajkummarRao and #NargisFakhri starrer #5Weddings is out with its first trailer and this love story is refreshing and slightly twisted!
The trade Analyst Komal Nahta released the trailer on social media. He wrote, “#5WeddingsTrailer Intl. trailer of Hollywood Film 5Weddings. Director Namrata Singh Gujral. Cast Rajkummar Rao, Nargis Fakhri, Bo Derek, Candy Clark. Producer Uniglobe Entertainment. Distributor Vision Films (world), Amaash Films(India). Premiered at Cannes, release 21Sept”
In this cross-culture romantic tale, Nargis plays an American journalist and Rajkummar plays a cop. The film is directed by Namrata Singh Gujral.
Nargis Fakhri plays the role of an American journalist, who has to come to India to write an article about Indian Weddings, and Rajkummar plays a cop, who is assigned to escort her.
While attending an Indian wedding, she has an encounter with transgender who have come to dance in the wedding as a ritual. Rajkummar does not allow her to talk to them. This intrigues Fakhri and things take a turn after that. She embarks on a journey of telling the story of the transgender to the entire world.
The movie also features popular and veteran Hollywood actress Bo Derek along with Candy Clark in the pivotal role.
The film is currently slated for 21st September 2018 release.
