The championship was held from 24th May to 27th May 2018 and she won the championship title in her brilliant style by her will and talent, she left no stone unturned to be the youngest charmer to win the championship this year.

Last year Anaishaa Nahar was seen impressing CM Devendra Fadnavis with her constant win and by contributing her prize money to the Farmer’s Relief Fund (Scheme by CM).

This year also she gave her 1st prize money and also all the rewards she got in last one year namely by coming 1st in 34th Singapore Nationals in 2017 along with another tournament prize money earned in last 1 year to the noble cause of our Hon CM whose efforts she considers to be iconic.

At such a tender age, Anaishaa has been thinking big and wise and definitely proves that she is the best at what she does. Just like the previous year, she has again contributed her prize money and funds from her tournament towards the Farmer’s Relief Fund, making all of us proud yet again with such a mature gesture.

It is also reported that Boney Kapoor will be hosting an art exhibition (painting) in Mumbai to honor late actress Sridevi, as she was a marvellous painter. In fact way back in May 2010 one of her paintings entitled Thoughts was auctioned at the prestigious Christie’s in London for a mindboggling amount.

Arbaaz Khan Makes Shocking Confession in IPL Betting Racket

Bollywood actor-producer #ArbaazKhan has reportedly confessed to his involvement in an #IPL betting racket. A bookie, Sonu Jalan, was arrested on Tuesday who divulged his name. Jalan is said to run an international gambling operation worth Rs 5,000 crore and reportedly has connections with Dawood Ibrahim.

Arbaaz was today called to record his statement before the anti-extortion cell of Thane police. At the police station, he was made to sit face-to-face with alleged bookie Sonu Jalan, arrested earlier in the case.

The AEC busted the racket on May 15 with the arrest of four people in Mumbai, including Sonu Jalan alias Sonu Malad, who is believed to be one of the top bookies of the country, officials have said.

During the investigation, a "connection" between Jalan and Arbaaz was established, said Pradeep Sharma, Senior Inspector and head of the AEC, yesterday. The two are said to have known each other for over five years.

Arbaaz Khan allegedly lost Rs. 2.80 crore to a bookie, Sonu Jalan, in bets on IPL matches and was not paying the amount, following which the bookie had threatened the actor, an official said, citing the interrogation of the arrested accused.

Abhishek Varman will direct the "epic drama" is produced by Karan Johar, Nadiadwala, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta. It is co-produced by Fox Star Studios. The film will hit the screens on April 19, 2019.

Apart from her cameo performance in Kalank, Actress Kriti Sanon is also busy with big projects like Panipat and Housefull 4.

Panipat is an upcoming historical period drama film which will be directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. It also features Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Kapoor. It is based on the third battle of Panipat which took place in 1761.

The shooting of the film began in Mumbai with Sanjay Dutt, Ali Fazal and Manisha Koirala shooting for their portions, the film is helmed by Deva Katta.

Manyata Dutt, Sanjay Dutt’s wife, too was part of the first day of the shoot which kick-started with Ali Fazal shooting for his scene.

Actor Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the role played by Sai Kumar in the original while Ali Fazal would be seen reprising Sharwanand’s role.

Sanjay Dutt has his kitty filled with various projects; he is currently busy with Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3, Torbaaz, Kalank, and Panipat.

I want to do comedy films: Shilpa Shetty

#ShilpaShetty may have been away from films for a while but has no desire to be seen in movies just for the sake of it.

The actor's last cinematic outing was 2007's "Apne".

"I think I have become too practical when it comes to (choosing a) script. My script sense has changed and that comes with time and experience. This is my 25th year in the industry and I have not done a film for eight-nine years, people still have faith in me, be it through small screen or the digital space," Shilpa told.

The 42-year-old actor says films are part of her life but she is now looking for something that she has not done before.

"I am happy to be still relevant in this time and age and doing more interesting things that I have not done before. I am very happy in this space. I do get film scripts and after few pages I feel I have done this before,"

she said, adding that a script should be worthy of the time that she spends away from her son.

"I am not interested in doing drama, there is enough drama happening in our lives. I want to do a funny film, a film that is entertaining and if possible show it to my son."

Great to work with talent powerhouse Ranbir: Vaani Kapoor

Walk faster to live healthy, longer

If you want to live longer and remain healthy, then #startwalking at a faster pace as it can reduce the risk of mortality due to cardiovascular disease, say researchers.

The results showed that walking at an average pace reduced the risk of cardiovascular disease mortality by 24 per cent and 21 per cent for those walking at a faster pace.

Walking at an average pace also reduced the risk for all cause mortality by 20 per cent whereas walking at a fast pace reduced the risk by four more per cent, compared to walking at a slow pace.

"While sex and body mass index did not appear to influence outcomes, walking at an average or fast pace was associated with a significantly reduced risk of all-cause mortality and cardiovascular disease.There was no evidence to suggest pace had a significant influence on cancer mortality however," said lead author, Emmanuel Stamatakis, Professor from Charles Perkins Centre and School of Public Health at University of Sydney.

"A fast pace is generally five to seven kilometres per hour, but it really depends on a walker's fitness levels; an alternative indicator is to walk at a pace that makes you slightly out of breath or sweaty when sustained," he added.

The study published in British Journal of Sports Medicine, included data from 50,225 walkers.

Green tea may prevent deaths from heart attacks

Love your cup of #greentea? Besides playing a role in weight loss and boosting immunity, green tea -- rich in antioxidants -- may also help prevent deaths due heart attacks and strokes caused by atherosclerosis -- a condition of narrowed artery walls due to fat build-up, claims a study.

According to the researchers, a compound called epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), found in green tea, breaks up and dissolves potentially dangerous protein plaques found in the blood vessels.

"The health benefits of green tea have been widely promoted and it has been known for some time that EGCG can alter the structures of amyloid plaques associated with Alzheimer's diseas," said David Middleton, Professor at Britain's Lancaster University.

"Our results show that this intriguing compound might also be effective against the types of plaques which can cause heart attacks and strokes," he added.

"... by engineering the molecule slightly, we might be able to make new medicines to treat heart attack and stroke," said Jeremy Pearson Professor and Associate Medical Director at the British Heart Foundation -- a Britain-based charity organisation.

The study, published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry, showed that EGCG binds to the amyloid fibres of a protein called apolipoprotein A-1 (apoA-1), which converts the fibres to smaller soluble molecules that are less likely to be damaging to blood vessels.

Being Punjabi really helped me for 'Soorma', says Taapsee Pannu

Actress #TaapseePannu says being a Punjabi helped her to play her character in the film #Soorma.

Taapsee, along with co-star Diljit Dosanjh and Indian hockey team's former captain Sandeep Singh -- whose life has inspired the movie -- was present at a promotional event of the film here on Thursday.

Asked whether being Punjabi helped her to play her character in "Soorma", Taapsee said: "I took a lot of advantage of that. When you do a Hindi film which has Punjab as its backdrop, then there is a feeling of home ground... For me, the challenging part was learning to play hockey than playing my character.

"Normally, sportspersons have a very aggressive and go-getter kind of personality but my character despite being a hockey player is coy and soft-spoken off the field. I don't relate with that trait at all so that was a bit challenging for me but being Punjabi really helped for this film to play the character other than that learning hockey and getting to relate to character's personality trait was bit difficult."

The "Pink" actress said she was very embarrassed that she herself didn't know about Singh's journey.

"For me, the biggest thrill was that I got the opportunity to work in a sports film because I really like sports. I never imagined that I will play hockey.

"In fact, I never used to watch hockey matches but at the same time, being an Indian, I was embarrassed with the fact that I wasn't aware of the story of Sandeep Singh. Doing this film was probably a way to rectify that guilt. After this film, I hope that no one will say that they don't know who is Sandeep Singh," Taapsee added.

On her role, the actress said: "There were lot of people in Sandeep Singh's life who were instrumental in his hockey career and I am playing the character of a girl who was an important reason to be a hockey player that he was."

Asked Was doing a sports based film more difficult than doing a regular commercial Hindi film, Taapsee said: "You don't get anything without facing difficult situations and at least, I haven't got anything without facing difficulties. I think in the future also, I will not get things easily in the film industry".

Nidhhi was present at the launch of her own app and interacted with media on Thursday in Mumbai. 

When asked about her 'Munna Micheal' co-star Tiger and how much does she think he has changed his the film she said, "I have always seen growth in Tiger from his first film and he will continue to grow in his future films. He is someone who works on himself so much. He is very disciplined and focused that nothing can stop him and he will keep growing and he will just keep getting better and better here on out."

Nidhhi is currently shooting for Savyasachi, when asked about the film and her future projects in Hindi she said,"Savyasachi is almost complete and I think in about two weeks I will start shooting for another film. I am very excited about his one. the character is though out the movie and there are many dialogues in a language that I don't know so it's going to be a challenge. I will also be started a film in Hindi in August and September, so I will let the producers announce the project."

Where celebs get trolled for the choice of clothes and words, Nidhi was asked how does she plan on reacting to troll now that her reach is increasing she said they don't bother her as much. 

"Trolls don't matter, once I read a comment when in the first sentence he/she said great things about me and then bad in the right next sentence. I think trolls have a psychological problem which roots real deep int heir lives which is sad.

Fanne Khan is the Hindi adaptation of the Dutch film Everybody's Famous. Produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and directed by Atul Manjrekar, the film is scheduled for a worldwide release in June.

In Fanne Khan, Aishwarya will be seen portraying a rock star, well known for her singing and dancing skills. Her character is reportedly kidnapped by Anil Kapoor, who plays a father to a budding singer and wants to make way for her in the music industry. The film also stars Divya Dutta in a pivotal role.

Irrfan Khan starrer Karwaan gets preponed

Ranbir on father's reaction to Sanju's trailer: It really moved me and made me emotional

One day before the trailer release of Sanju, director Raju Hirani screened the trailer for Ranbir's father Rishi Kapoor. The veteran actor then praised his son's performance and swore that he thought it was Sanjay Dutt. When asked Ranbir about his reaction to the trailer he said, "Besides being my father, he is also an actor that I respect. Raju sir had recorded his reaction and sent it to me, I was shooting someplace else.

He never compliments me to my face, not that I expect it and all but to hear such words coming from him was an incredible experience for me. It really moved me and made me emotional. Every father wants their son to do well but my father is very careful that he won't give me a compliment for free. He always reminds us to work harder so this was a wonderful gift that Raju sir and Vidhu Sir had sent me."

In the full-length trailer, we see Sanjay Dutt's character honestly revealing that he had 308 girlfriends in his lifetime when asked Ranbir if he will honestly give out such information to everyone. " I won't allow it, I am not a courageous man enough like Sanju sir to give my life out so openly but my count is smaller than 10 so I don't think a biopic can be made on me."

Ranbir who has been shooting for Sanju since past one year was asked how much difficult was it to become Ranbir Kapoor again, he said, "It wasn't that difficult because I immersed myself into a different project named 'Bhramastra'. This happens a lot with the actor when they are promoting one film they are already shooting for another so I am already in another character right now. So thankfully it was smooth for me."

Asked if he is open to working in another biopic, after 'Sanju' if offered the chance Ranbir said, he'd be happy to do it, "Any story that inspires whether it is a biopic or fiction, as long as there is a story to be told I would love to be a part of it."

When asked if fans are going to see one of his best performances in Sanju and if he think this it will be the best film in his career he said, "Of course and its crucial and this will be the best film in my career and it would be amazing if this film becomes blockbuster. So please do want the film in the theater."

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar is delayed again and makers of the film have announced a new release date, which is March 2019.

Superstar Arjun Kapoor took to his social media and urged fans to be patient with the release and he promises that wait will be worth it. Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is set to release on March 1, 2019. The Dibakar Banerjee thriller will see Arjun play the role of a Haryanvi cop, while Parineeti essays the role of an ambitious girl from the corporate world whose lives suddenly intertwine.

Filmmaker Dibakar also shared reasons on new release date. He said, “I feel this is my first film all over again, at least in terms of the excitement with the material. Sandeep and Pinky bring to screen the two India’s that are forever clashing. I want the audience not to lose a second of that. Ranbir Kapoor is currently promoting Sanju, which is an official biopic on controversial and legendary actor Sanjay Dutt. Talking about the film in his interview, the actor said, “My work. Sanju – the biopic on [actor] Sanjay Dutt – was a huge opportunity for me, working with Rajkumar Hirani and his team. Sometimes you get a part that’s juicy and you also get to work with good people. That’s a luxury. I’m also shooting for Brahmastra with Ayan Mukerji, which should be out next year”

“The work I do really occupies my life. I like to take the character home with me, and submerge myself in it, and that’s about it. So I have lots of time on my hands. I’m easy, life is easy right now”

The biopic depicts the various stages of actor’s life, from his film career, drug addiction, jail time and comeback to the silver screen. Ranbir Kapoor deserves praise for his amazing transformation into each phase of Sanjay Dutt's life.

Director Dibakar Banerjee said it felt like his first film and didn't want to compromise with the film's post-production time.

“I feel this is my first film all over again, at least in terms of the excitement with the material. Sandeep and Pinky bring to screen the two India's that are forever clashing. I want the audience not to lose a second of that. We finished the shoot one month late because of the intense weather conditions on the Indo-Nepal border. 

I don't want Sandeep and Pinky to be shortchanged on edit time. YRF agreed with my request and so we are pressing on together to the new date. 2019 is when India chooses its future. I'm looking forward to release in that year and choose mine.”

Rohan Malhotra, VP - Distribution at YRF added, “Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar will now release on March 1, 2019. Arjun and Parineeti have Namaste England releasing on Dussehra this year and the makers had announced this date a while back. It would have been unfair for us to request them to shift their film. Also, we wanted to have a gap between these two films as it features the same star cast and given the extremely busy release calendar of this year, we feel March 1 is the best date for our movie to open.”

A special screening of the forthcoming film #VeerediWedding was held for Bollywood celebrities on Wednesday which was film cast and crew along with many filmmakers and actors.

Kareena's co-star Sumit Vyas was seen entering the venue with girlfriend Ekta Kaul. Followed by 'Lipstick under my Burkha' actress Aahana Kumra. Other Veere di Wedding actors present were Swara Bhaskar, Sikha Talsania, and Sonam Kapoor. While Ekta and Kareena were missing, producer Rhea Kapoor was present at the screening.

Rajkummar Rao was attended the of Veere di Wedding screening with girlfriend Patralekha. Rajkummar was then seen interacting with filmmaker and director Karan Johar.  Other actors seen at the show were Manoj Pahwa, Seema Pahwa, Sanjay Kapoor, wife Maheep Kapoor and actor Nikhil Trivedi, Kunal Rawal and Mohit Raina. 

Sonam's father, Anil Kapoor, husband Anand Ahuja,  uncle Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi and Jhanvi Kapoor were also present at the show. Directors like Imtiyaz Ali, R. Balki, Race 3 co-stars Daisy Shah, Boby Deol and Sonal Chauhan, Gauri Shinde, Richa Chadda.

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film revolves around four friends attending a wedding. It stars Kareena Kapoor as one of the leads who is getting married, along with friends as Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania who have their own stories to tell.

Salman Khan just confirmed the launch of newbie Zaheer Iqbal on his social media account. The film is not titled yet but it is been confirmed that it is a love story set in the valley of Kashmir. The project will be produced by Salman Khan Films, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde. The project will be helmed by Nitin Kakkar and the shooting commence in September 2018.

“Sultan” Actor Salman Khan took to his social media account and shared candid pictures with newbie and parted with some really cool advice. He wrote, “How these kids grow up so soon... ALWAYS keep giving your best #ZAHERO no matter what. This year alone we will witness three new launches by Salman Khan, starting with Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussian in Loveratri and now Zaheer Iqbal.

As for Salman Khan, the actor is currently promoting his latest outing Race 3 with Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem. The film is directed by Remo Dsouza and will hit theaters on Eid.

Taapsee Pannu Slam Media for Running a Fake Story

It is been reported that Taapsee Pannu has refused to be paired opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in director Honey Trehan directorial debut crime thriller. The reason quoted that Taapsee is not keen on getting paired with Nawaz.

The news spread like wildfire but apparently, it is not true. Taapsee Pannu just took to her social media page and slammed the portal for running fake news.

Taapsee wrote, “Irresponsible journalism at its best yet another time. Wish u have basic courtesy to contact the people concerned to know the truth before exploiting the power of your pen. #NotCool #SadStateOfAffairs”

The news-portal tried to refute the claim stating that her team member’s planted the story and she should have checked with her team before slamming the reporter.

But Taapsee is hearing non-of-it, she wrote back, “Really!!!?? Then y not mention the “source” instead of keeping it so ambiguous if u r so ‘responsible’. Will help me also to know the truth :) n if u can’t produce a proof for the same then kindly contact the actor next time before publishing such statements”

On the work front, Taapsee Pannu has her kitty filled with series of projects, such as Tadka, Soorma, Mulq, and Manmarziyaan.
