The trailer opens with a bang and Sanjay Dutt played by Ranbir Kapoor admits to being an alcoholic, drug addict and all-out troublemaker! The honesty in the film is not an issue!
Sanju is a hilarious and heartbreaking exploration of one man’s battle against his own wild self and the formidable external forces trying to crush him. It depicts the journey of a man through everything that life can throw at him.
The biopic depicts the various stages of actor’s life, the teaser of which has already peaked the interests of the audience. Ranbir Kapoor deserves praise for his amazing transformation into each phase of Sanjay Dutt's life.
The film is written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will also star an ensemble cast which includes Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza among others.
The film is produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios. Sanju will hit theatres on June 29.
