I Hope People Understand Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga Says Sonam Kapoor
Actress #SonamKapoor says that she is hoping that people understand her forthcoming romantic drama #EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga on the sidelines of Kunal Rawal’s flagship store launch.
Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor graced the launch of Kunal Rawal’s flagship store launch here in Mumbai.
Sonam Kapoor also talked about her forthcoming romantic drama, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, which is her first LGBT movie and actress “hopes’ that people understand the film.
She said, “I am really excited. I am eagerly waiting for my film to be received well by the audience. And I hope people understand and love the film and embrace it.”
Sonam Kapoor has been an avid supporter of “Me Too” movement, but when asked about Raju Hirani being named recently in sexual harassment case, the actress reacted to the questioning. She said, “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is such an important film and this questions is as important as this film. But right now, because this film is so important that I want to concentrate on that but thank you for asking me this question at such an event”
Talking about clothes and fashion, Sonam Kapoor said, “Kunal is one of my best friends, one of my oldest friend, I like his clothes, they are really cool. In this era of over-embellishment when you’re subtle, it screams louder than when you’re overdressed or over-done. So I love the class and his clothes”
Sonam Kapoor is noted for fashion sense and she also added that she does wear menswear on occasion.

Actor #AnilKapoor says his forthcoming romantic drama goes beyond the mere love story and it is an important film, on the sidelines of a store launch in Mumbai.
Veteran actor Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor graced the launch of Kunal Rawal’s flagship ship store launch here in Mumbai.
ELKDTAL is first of its kind movie, which features real-life father and daughter – Ani and Sonam – as on-screen father and daughter.
Talking about his upcoming film veteran Anil Kapoor said, “Everyone has some secrets, every men, women, boy or girl, we all have secrets and we tend to hide it, keep it inside and worry about it, but I feel after watching this film everyone will talk about their secrets, they will disclose it, so that you’ll feel lighter”
“This film goes beyond the love story. And when you’ll see the film, you’ll understand it. It is a very important film for Sonam, Rajkummar, Vinod Chopra and me”
The upcoming film is all about same-sex relationships. Sonam plays a girl from a small town who falls in love with another girl. Rajkummar, on the other hand, plays the part of Sonam’s lover who later on goes to become her best friend.

I believe Tanushree Dutta Says Sonam Kapoor
Bollywood actor #TanushreeDutta has alleged that #NanaPatekar has harassed her on the sets of the film called #HornOkPleassss, now the entire Bollywood female brigade has come out in support of Former Miss India.
Celebrities like Richa Chadha, Swara Bhasker, Priyanka Chopra have come out in support of Tanushree Dutta’s allegation against Nana Patekar and latest to join the bandwagon is Sonam Kapoor.
Actress Sonam Kapoor took to her social media profile and belted out two-part tweet, supporting the actress.

Actress #SonamKapoor who had launched the clothing brand Rheson with her sister #RheaKapoor launched a new collection line inspired by Bollywood iconic posters.
Sharing the exciting news on Monday she tweeted, "Movie Posters, the new addition to our 80s collection inspired by Bollywood’s legendary icons, is here! "
She shared a promotional video with the sisters sporting some of the collection.

Sonam who loves reading books insisted that the some of the best content comes from books, "I read a lot of books and I started shooting for 'Zoya Factor' yesterday which is also based on a book and I also bought 'Battle for Bittora' and hope will start shooting for it soon as well. I truly believe that some of the best content comes out of books and authors are the true heroes of our time.This year we have incorporated books from regional languages also which is incredible."

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga Gets A Release Date
The first ever real-life to reel-life father-daughter drama, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga starring #AnilKapoor, #SonamKapoor along with #RajkumarRao and #JuhiChawla finally has a release date. The film is set to release next year on February 1.

Looking Forward To Taking Sanju To Indian Film Festival – Rajkumar Hirani
After an incredible success worldwide, #RajkumarHirani now heads to the #IndianFilmFestival of Melbourne to screen #Sanju for Australian students!
The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne is a celebration of Indian cinema in the land down under. This year the festival will be taking place from 10th - 22nd August 2018, under the unifying theme of inclusion.
On talking about the screening he said, "It’s always an enriching experience when people of different diaspora watch our films. I look forward to the special screening of Sanju for the students at La Trobe. It would be an interesting experience to see the reactions of those who are almost alien to Hindi films and the life of Sanjay Dutt."
This year, the festival is delighted and proud to present Rajkumar Hirani as the key guest who will celebrate Indian Cinema along with the diaspora at IFFM. The director who’s currently riding on a huge success wave after his film Sanju has gone on to becoming the highest grosser of 2018.
Rajkumar Hirani will be screening the film Sanju for university students from La Trobe. He will introduce the film, talk about Sanjay Dutt and show them a very different sort of biopic something they aren’t familiar with. For many this will be their first Bollywood film ever.

The movie stars Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla, who are trying to work out their relationships and marriages. The trailer doesn’t reveal much but enough to get the premise of the film, which is love in the modern urban setting!

Anthony Bourdain Made Me Fall In Love With Food – Sonam Kapoor
Bollywood Actress #SonamKapoor pays respect to deceased celebrity and celebrated US Chef, #AnthonyBourdain, on her social media account.
US celebrity chef and television personality Anthony Bourdain has been found dead in his hotel room; aged 61, of an apparent suicide. Bourdain was filming an episode of his CNN series Parts Unknown near Strasbourg in France when he died. The chef was a best-selling food, fiction, and nonfiction author.
Veere Di Wedding Actress Sonam Kapoor wrote a praiseworthy message for the chef. She wrote, “Sometimes life throws you curve balls and you don’t know how to react. Bourdain was possibly the best communicator of our times, he entertained, educated and made the world including me fall in love with food. There are female heroes in Veere Di Wedding: Farhan Akhtar
#FarhanAkhtar is of the opinion that the multi starrer film #VeereDiWedding stars, heroes which is a gender neutral word.
The actor who condemned the violence in Shillong took to twitter on Monday to share his thoughts on the resent Ekta Kapoor release. "There are heroes in this film. They are female. It’s unfortunate that the word ‘hero’ evolved to be masculine given that it’s actually gender neutral. Definition: a person who is admired for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. And congratulations."
Farhan Akhtar reacted to a actor Swara Bhaskar tweet that read,"Veere Di Wedding opens to 10.70 crores day 1! Third highest opener this year! A film without a hero and adult rated! Clearly the future is female."
Shashanka Ghosh directorial revolves around four friends attending a wedding. It stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania who are attending Kareena Kapoor Khan's wedding in the film.

And I think there was this notion in Bollywood that the masala commercial space is like the male bastion in terms of opening and 'Veere Di Wedding' has made a small crack in the glass ceiling with these amazing opening numbers. Now people won't be able to say female stars cant bring great opening numbers on box office."

Check Out the Main Badhiya Tu Bhi Badhiya
Finally, the makers of #Sanju unveils the first track from the forthcoming biopic, the song is titled “Main Badhiya Tu Bhi Badhiya”.
Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani shared the song on his social media profile. He wrote, “#RanbirKapoor @sonamakapoor #RajkumarHiraniFilms @foxstarhindi @VVCFilms @TSeries @PuneetVuneet @rohanrohanmusic @SunidhiChauhan5”
The song depicts the early stage of Sanjay Dutt’s career and his father Sunil Dutt doubting his lip-syncing abilities. In order to prove his father wrong, Sanjay Dutt sings, the song “Main Badhiya Tu Bhi Badhiya" lip-syncing convincingly to a women’s voice. Set in the 1980’s, the song also features the quirky romance between Sanju and his girlfriend played by Sonam Kapoor.
The song is crooned by popular duo Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan, with music from Rohan and lyrics by Puneet Sharma.
The biopic depicts the various stages of actor’s life, from his film career, drug addiction, jail time and come back to the silver screen. Ranbir Kapoor deserves praise for his amazing transformation into each phase of Sanjay Dutt's life.
The film is written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will also star an ensemble cast which includes Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza among others.
