The first ever real-life to reel-life father-daughter drama, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga starring #AnilKapoor, #SonamKapoor along with #RajkumarRao and #JuhiChawla finally has a release date. The film is set to release next year on February 1.
Actress Sonam Kapoor shared a new poster on her social media profile and confirmed the release date of the movie. She wrote, “#EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga, releasing on February 1st, 2019. Don’t forget the date! @AnilKapoor @RajkummarRao @iam_juhi @foxstarhindi @VVCFilms #RajkumarHiraniFilms”.
The forthcoming drama is a perfect blend of old world charm and modern day theatrics kind of a vibe about it. The character names are also out – Anil Kapoor plays Balbir Chaudhary, while Sonam Kapoor plays his daughter Sweety Chaudhary.
Actress Juhi Chawla looks refreshing as the character Chatro while Bollywood’s new big thing Rajkumar Rao is playing Sahil Mirza.

The film also features Regina Cassandra and Madhumalti Kapoor in crucial roles. It marks Bollywood debut of south actress Regina Cassandra.
The film tells the story of a Hindu woman in love with a Muslim man, whose life falls apart when she discovers her father's infidelity with a woman who aspires to be an actress.
The movie releases on 1 February 2019.
