The most epic thrilling trailer of #Stree is out! It is a first of its kind horror comedy, inspired from a true phenomenon. The film is set in a town called Chanderi, where men have started disappearing mysteriously and one good looking witch in involved!
Maddock Films official twitter handle dropped the trailer on the digital platform. They captioned it, “Jo bhi kehta hai ki mard ko dard nahi hota woh abhi tak #Stree se nahi mila. The trailer starts with veteran actor Pankaj Tripathi narrating a ghost story about a woman, who has been living in the city for several years and targets men. She visits the town every year for four days.
Rajkummar, a tailor, falls in love with Shraddha and narrates their story to his friends, one of them being Aparshakti Khurrana. They later tell him that she might be the same 'stree' from which the entire town is afraid of. However, he refuses to believe him.
The film is directed by Amar Kaushik, produced by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. and Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films.
The film is based on the Indian urban legend, Nale Ba, about a witch who knocks on people's doors at night. The film is slated for 31 August 2018 release.
