The first outing of two of the most talented and stunning actors – #VarunDhawan and #AnushkaSharma, the film #SuiDhaaga finally gets a release date. The movie is slated for 28th September 2018.
Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma took to their respective social media profiles and shared teaser poster from the film and confirmed the release date.
Anushka Sharma wrote, “ममता और मौजी से मिलिए २८ सितम्बर को अपने नज़दीकी सिनेमा घरो में! #SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia @Varun_dvn @yrf”
And Varun Dhawan wrote, “ममता और मौजी से मिलने के लिए तय्यार? Meet them in theatres near you on 28th September #SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia | @AnushkaSharma | @yrf”
Sui Dhaaga is directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Maneesh Sharma under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It stars Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
Varun plays the role of a tailor and Anushka Sharma plays the role of an embroider, in a heart warming tale which celebrates Indian artisanship and craftwork. In fact the duo has a special plan to promote the film across nation.
The actors are set to travel the length and breadth of the country during the promotions of Sui Dhaaga for which they have dedicated 40 days!
Dhawan described his character to be both a tailor and a peon, and stated that it had been inspired by the Tinkle comic character Suppandi. Both the actors learnt how to sew and embroider, and also operate the sewing machine.
The film releases on 28th September 2018.
