'Ghar Layenge Gold' which is sung by Daler Mehndi and Sachin-Jigar while the patriotic lyrics have been penned by Javed Akhtar. The song showcases Akshay's dream to win gold at the Olympics and the song's music along with the lyrics is sure to pump you up.
Gold is an upcoming historical sports drama film directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner.
The film stars Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh and Sunny Kaushal.
A historical sports drama inspired by India’s first Olympic gold medal. The film traces the “golden era” of Indian hockey through the journey of Tapan Das, a young assistant manager in 1936, who dreams of playing for an independent nation.
The film is based on the first ever hockey medal that was won by India after Independence. It focuses on the Golden era of Indian hockey.
The film is slated for 15th August 2018 release.
