The remake is titled Kaatrin Mozhi, starring Jyothika in the lead role. The comedy-drama film is written and directed by Radha Mohan and film also features Vidharth and Lakshmi Manchu in supporting roles.

The original film, Tumhari Sulu was directed by Suresh Triveni, is about a housewife-turned-RJ who discovers her life after her show in the radio becomes a huge hit.

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is an upcoming crime thriller film co-written and directed by Mani Ratnam. The film features an ensemble cast including Arvind Swami, Silambarasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Arun Vijay as the lead actors, with a supporting female cast led by Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Dayana Erappa.

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi confirmed the news on their respective social media profiles, and the couple is receiving good wishes from fans and friends after revealing the pregnancy.

Film producer Ajay Devgn decided to change the release date of the film from 7th September to 12th October as the director of the film, Pradeep Sarkar is suffering from dengue.

Sarkar was recently diagnosed with dengue and hospitalized. According to a press release, he was allowed to leave the hospital for a day to direct Amitabh Bachchan’s cameo in the movie, with an ambulance and a doctor on standby on the set. Producers Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada have decided to postpone the release until Sarkar is discharged from the hospital.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the new release date on social media. He wrote, “New release date for #HelicopterEela: 12 Oct 2018... Since director Pradeep Sarkar is diagnosed with dengue, Ajay Devgn has taken a decision to resume work on the film after Sarkar is discharged from hospital... Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada have now shifted the film to 12 Oct.”

Actor #AvinashTiwary, who is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film #LailaMajnu has said that the iconic love story of Laila Majnu is still very relevant in today’s time.

Avinash Tiwary was interacting with media to promote ‘Laila Majnu’ along with Tripti Dimri on Wednesday in Mumbai.

When asked Avinash how their film will be different from other production which was based on story of Laila Majnu, he said,  “People often think that Laila Majnu is desi version of Romeo and Juliet but Romeo and Juliet was William Shakespeare’s story and the story of Laila Majnu was written much earlier. People are still following story of Laila Majnu over the years and I think in today’s time, their story is really relevant where every individual is searching for his or her soul mate and that is what we are bringing back through this film. I think the soul of a classical tale has been kept as it is in the film but we have contemporize it for today’s audience will enjoy the film while watching it.”

When asked Avinash whether he is feeling any kind of pressure as a newcomer to deliver success through this film, “I always looked up to be part of a good film and to play a good character. I think fortunately or unfortunately, people don’t know the story of Laila Majnu but they have heard names of these characters over the years so, this was an opportunity for us to tell this story for today’s generation. I think character of Majnu has many layers that lot of senior actors would find little bit of envy within that they haven’t got opportunity to play it. I think the way Imtiaz (Ali) sir has written and presented it and the way Sajid (Ali) has directed it is really fresh in its own way.”

Varun 's character is named Mauji is tailor in the movie, along side Anushka Sharma. While talking about preparing for the role he said in a statement, "I knew that I had a task at hand. Darshan (the costume designer) and Noor bhai (the tailor on the sets) helped me a lot and I gave it three months to learn this skill.

Recently the news was viral that Sushant Singh Rajput was trying to be ‘extra-friendly’ towards newbie Sanjana Sanghi. On one such occasion, the newbie actress felt uncomfortable and apparently complained about it to her parents and the shooting of the film is on halt.

The new song turns up the heat in a completely different set-up with Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussian setting the club floor on fire. The new track is a club song which has Warina doing everything to have Aayush's eyes glued on her.

Luxurious, fluid, folds of silk came together with cool, breezy, cotton, which was showered with multi-coloured sparks of the very unusual embroidery that was inspired by the sea life of the Great Barrier Reef.

The makers revealed that the actress has transformed herself for the rustic debut From learning to milk buffaloes to plastering walls with dung cakes Radhika will be seen doing it all for the film.
