Feel privileged to screen Love Sonia at UN: Tabrez Noorani
#LoveSonia directed by #TabrezNoorani will be screen at the UN on the International Day of the Girl Child.
The film about sex trafficking, will be screened at UN in New York on October 11, which is also its first screening in US.
Addressing the special honour director Noorani in a statement said, "It's an honour for us to screen our film 'Love Sonia' for the UN. I feel privileged and I am looking forward to the screening on the October 11 in New York,"
An official statement by the makers revealed the screening will be hosted by the UN Office for Drugs and Crime and Indian anti-trafficking organisation, Apne Aap Women Worldwide.

Mrunal Thakur has given Love Sonia her everything says Tabrez Noorani
#TabrezNoorani who is gearing up for the release of his debut film, #LoveSonia said lead actress #MrunalThakur has given the film her everything.
Noorani, who has previously been associated with films like "Life Of Pi", "Zero Dark Thirty" and "Slumdog Millionaire" is noe debuting as a filmmaker, director the story of a 17 year-old girl who risks her life to rescue her sister from a vicious human trafficking network across India, Hong Kong and Los Angeles.
The director after releasing the trailer on thursday in a statement said, "It is incredibly satisfying to be releasing this trailer and the movie in India, where I was born, raised and first started working in the entertainment industry. I am also glad to introduce the extremely talented Mrunal Thakur who has given this film everything."
