Bengali film on Sheena Bora case to premiere in US festival

#Bengalifilm #DarkChocolate, which presents a fictional take on the #SheenaBora murder mystery, will premiere at the #FestivalofGlobe #FOG in the Silicon Valley on August 13, a statement said on Friday.

FOG is one of the biggest festivals for the Indian diaspora in the US.

Directed by filmmaker #AgnidevChatterjee, the movie stars Bollywood actress #MahimaChaudhury and actress #RiyaSen in key roles. Actors #RajeshSharma, #MumtazSorcar, Indrashis Roy, #KaushikSen and #SudipMukherjee are also part of the cast.

Chaudhury who will be the guest of honour at the premiere said: "I am quite excited about the entire thing."

Chaudhry plays Ishani Banerjee, a character based on murder accused Indrani Mukherjea while actress Riya Sen will essay Rina Bardhan, a role inspired from the short life of Bora. Media baron Peter Mukherjea will be portrayed by Sudip Mukherjee.
