Radhika along side costar Sanya Malhotra interacted with media for the film promotion on Monday.

Asked if as a debut film she was hesitant to take such a deglamour role Radhika said, "I chose this film because it is a Vishal Bharadwaj film. It wouldn't matter even if he asked me to play a mice in the film, I would still do it. Also I really wanted to live Champa Kumari's life. I didn't think more than that and just asked him to transform me. And the times have changed nobody really thinks about how glamorous you role has to be for a debut film, people do really appreciate acting now and look for value for money."

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj the film is about a story of two badass sisters. The story about two sisters, Badki and Chhutki and is based on an acclaimed short story by renowned writer Charan Singh Pathik.

Bhardwaj interacted with media at the song launch of "Pataakha" along with actors Sunil Grover, Radhika Madan and Sanya Malhotra, and singers Rekha Bhardwaj and Sunidhi Chauhan on tuesday.

While talking about his experience working on the film and with a new cast he said,  "As far as experience of working in this film is concerned, I really had fun making this film because the kind of energy was there on film's set was amazing. From many years, I have been working with stars, so I felt so liberated after making this film with comparatively new cast."

Adding about his casting choice he said, "I wanted to cast new people in this film because the kind of commitment I was seeking in this film would have been given to me by new actors only." 

"Pataakha" is a comedy-drama film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj about two sisters who share a difficult relationship with each other.

Filmmaker #VishalBhardwaj, who is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film #Pataakha, says he will work with #PriyankaChopra on a project next year.

The comedy-drama  "Pataakha" is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film is about two sisters who share a difficult relationship with each other and think marriage is their way of getting away from each other but end up marrying in the same house.

The makers revealed that the actress has transformed herself for the rustic debut From learning to milk buffaloes to plastering walls with dung cakes Radhika will be seen doing it all for the film.

“We are very happy that Radhika is being launched by a legend like Vishal Bhardwaj and my company. Both Sanya and Radhika have performed extremely well,” says Pataakha producer Ajay Kapoor.

Markers revealed Malaika will be seen grooving to 'Hello Hello,' sung by Rekha Bhardwaj and penned by Gulzar.The  sizzling desi number promises to be all that Bipasha Basu's 'Beedi Jalaile' and 'Namak Ishq ka' were.  

Talking about Malika's appearance Producer Ajay Kapoor says, "Malaika started the trend of these special songs, so when we came up with this track for Pataakha, she was the first one we thought of casting. When I approached her for the song, she was very excited and immediately agreed. We are happy to have her on board and this song is tailor-made for her."

'Hello Hello's music has been given by Vishal Bhardwaj and it has been choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. The song will be filmed this week and rehearsals are on in the Mira Road Studio. 

The official handle of Kyta Production dropped a teaser on social media, which pays an ode to filmmaker and announces the trailer release date of forthcoming sisterly drama Patakha.

In the poster, the film's leading ladies can be seen in the middle of an intense fight, played by Sanya and Radhika. The movie also features comedian Sunil Grover and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles.

Pataakha is based on Charan Singh Pathik's short story titled Do Behnein. The comedy-drama revolves around the lives of two feuding sisters who realise the true nature of their relationship when they are separated after marriage.
