The official Tamil remake of #VidyaBalan’s Tumhari Sulu finally gets a release date and poster release, the film is titled #KaatrinMozhi.
The remake is titled Kaatrin Mozhi, starring Jyothika in the lead role. The comedy-drama film is written and directed by Radha Mohan and film also features Vidharth and Lakshmi Manchu in supporting roles.
The original film, Tumhari Sulu was directed by Suresh Triveni, is about a housewife-turned-RJ who discovers her life after her show in the radio becomes a huge hit.
The makers of Kaatrin Mozhi have released a new poster revealing Jyothika's look for the film. She plays a radio jockey in the film and she does remind of Vidya Balan from the original.
In Kaatrin Mozhi, actor Vidharth will be seen as Jyothika's husband. Telugu actress Lakshmi Manchu will be seen playing the role of Neha Dhupia in the remake. In addition to that, actor Simbu will be seen in a cameo.
The film opens in theaters on 18th October 2018.
