The entire nation is celebrating the union of #PriyankaChopra and #NickJonas but unfortunately, New York Magazine's The Cut published an article called, Desi girl a “global scam artist” and offered some advice to beau Nick to gallop away.
This is not gone down with anyone, not the fans and even celebrities are blasting away the article. In the critical and really narrow-minded post, the author took aim at the newly married Priyanka and Nick.
Bollywood celebrities such as Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and family members of Nick – Joe Jonas and her fiancée Sophie Turner has wasted no time to blast the author on social media.
Actor Arjun Kapoor took to his social media and wrote, “I know @priyankachopra personally & I’m fairly certain @nickjonas hasn’t been kidnapped & forced into a union of love... @NYMag u have an unhappy opinionated racist frustrated journalist who’s gone on n on about 2 people who by choice have gotten married. Tacky n uncouth writing.”
Fashionista Sonam Kapoor also blasted the author. She wrote, “For a publication that “shows women’s what they are made of” @TheCut has a lot to answer for . The article on @priyankachopra was sexist , racist and disgusting. Also it’s written by a woman which is so sad. It reeks of envy and bitterness. @mRiah shame on you!”

After Fire Work Fiasco, PETA Calls Out Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas For Animal Use
#PriyankaChopra and #NickJonas are in Delhi for their first reception after an epic wedding ceremony in Umaid Bhawan Palace. But unfortunately, the fireworks for the wedding faced the wrath of social media trolls and now #PETA is calling out the newlywed couple for the use of animals in their wedding.
PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals India, has called out newlyweds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas for using elephants and horses at their wedding procession.
PETA India took to Twitter to blast the couple who tied the knot as per Hindu traditions on Sunday in Jodhpur. It said, “Dear @priyankachopra and @nickjonas. Elephants for weddings live and chains and horses are controlled with whips, spiked bits. People are rejecting elephant rides and having horse-free weddings. Congrats, but we regret it was not a happy day for animals”
PETA also shared its video from four years ago, highlighting the woes of the animals, titled, Captive Elephants in Jaipur: PETA India’s 2014 Inspection.
Priyanka, who is a vocal asthmatic, was lambasted for hypocrisy after the sky was lit up with spectacular fireworks post the first nuptials. On Diwali, the actor had urged people not to burn firecrackers and celebrate a pollution-free festival of lights.
The official statement from the couple on both the issues is still awaited.

The couple recently got married at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. The post wedding festivities and receptions have started in Delhi and will continue for the entire week.
Their wedding was a thoughtful representation of both the cultures, much like their roka engagement ceremony. The festivities began with a number of traditional pre-celebrations: a puja ceremony, a sangeet, a mehndi ceremony, and a haldi ceremony, along with Christian Style wedding, officiated by Jonas’s father.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas met during the Met Gala in 2017, when Ralph Lauren invited them to attend the function. After dating for a year, Nick popped the question with a Tiffany ring and rest is just history.

Priyanka Chopra Turns Investor in a Dating App Company
World Beauty #PriyankaChopra adds another feather in her cap, the singer and producer turns an investor in US based dating app Bumble.
The company has roped in Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra as an investor who will act as an advisor for its India expansion. Peecee took to her social media profile and confirmed her association with the company.
She wrote, “A new chapter for me! I am so excited to partner with @bumble and @holbertonschool as an investor. I’m honored to join two companies that strive to expand gender diversity in the tech space, and make a social impact for the greater good... let’s do this!!”
India’s online dating industry is estimated at $7 million (Rs52 crore) currently and its revenue is expected to grow at 10.5% annually till 2023, according to online statistics and market intelligence firm Statista. Compared to the US, where the sector generates annual revenue upwards of $250 million, things are just starting out for the online dating industry in India. With Bumble’s entry, things might now pick up pace.
Apart from entrepreneur ventures, Priyanka Chopra is currently shooting for “The Sky is Pink” with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.

She wrote, “Vanity is my favourite sin - Al Pacino...Well, it might not be my all-time favourite sin (that would be gluttony), but who doesn't like looking good? The way we look has a profound psychological impact on us... A little vanity here and there does no one any harm. It's important to do what makes you happy, even if it's something as simple as wearing a wig, bright red lipstick, high heels.”

Vishal Bhardwaj to work with Priyanka Chopra in 2019
Filmmaker #VishalBhardwaj, who is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film #Pataakha, says he will work with #PriyankaChopra on a project next year.
Bhardwaj interacted with media at the song launch of "Pataakha" along with actors Sunil Grover, Radhika Madan and Sanya Malhotra, and singers Rekha Bhardwaj and Sunidhi Chauhan on tuesday.
In a previous interview Vishal said he would want to work with Priyanka Chopra when asked if they are going to work together on a project soon he said, "Yes, even priyanka wanted to work with me so we have been in touch and talking about scripts so maybe, hopefully by next year we will work a project together."
When asked about the film's clash with 'Sui Dhaaga', he said, "During Haider also we have bang bang release but it doesn't make much of a difference. If people want they will go and watch both the movies. Another thing is 2nd October has been lucky for me, so I wanted this film to release on 2nd. Not that I am superstitious but when we talked about the release date to be 5th or 12th, so I said why not 2nd."
The comedy-drama "Pataakha" is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film is about two sisters who share a difficult relationship with each other and think marriage is their way of getting away from each other but end up marrying in the same house.

Actors #PriyankaChopra, #FarhanAkhtar and #ZairaWasim have started shooting for Shonali Bose's #TheSkyIsPink.
Priyanka who is also a co producer to the project took to social media sharing her excitement on Wednesday.
She wrote. "So excited about today..Some stories just need to be told. In the spirit of Aisha Chaudhary&her incredible parents Aditi&Niren we bring you our super special project #TheSkyIsPink. Going on floors today!@RSVPMovies @roykapurfilms @FarOutAkhtar #ShonaliBose @ZairaWasimmm"
The film, which is based on a true life story, evolves around Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13.
Priyanka earlier in a statement said "I look forward to diving into this film…It's very special to me. As soon I read it, I knew I had to be a part of telling this story."

First #PriyankaChopra dropped out of #SalmanKhan starring #Bharat and now her American television series #Quantico aired its last episode on Friday night. The actress took to her social media profile and shared a heartfelt emotional post.

Priyanka Chopra to play Chris Pratt's love interest in 'Cowboy Ninja Viking'
#PriyankaChopra who was to appear in #SalmanKhan's #Bharat but opted out,will now appear as Chris Pratt's love interest in #CowboyNinjaViking.
Variety.com reported Priyanka scored the role in Universal's big-budget tentpole after a chemistry test with Pratt went extremely well.
Priyanka was due to star in Indian period drama "Bharat" opposite Salman Khan, but as per the film's director Ali Abbas Zafar opted out of it for "a very special reason". It fuelled speculations that she may left the cast after have been engaged to singer-songwriter Nick Jonas.
Directed by "Game of Thrones" fame Michelle MacLaren, "Cowboy Ninja Viking, which is in pre-production with a screenplay by Dan Mazeau, Ryan Engle, Craig Mazin, Paul Wernick and David Reese.
Katrina Kaif replaces Priyanka Chopra in Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’
After #PriyankaChopra’s unprofessional exit from #SalmanKhan’s forthcoming film #Bharat, #KatrinaKaif has joined the cast of the film as its leading lady.
Katrina was last seen opposite Salman in 2017 blockbuster ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. ‘Bharat’ is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. This is the second Eid release of Zafar and Salman after 2016 film ‘Sultan’.

Desi Girl #PriyankaChopra has walked out of #SalmanKhan’s ambitious #Bharat, which is being directed by #AliAbbasZafar.
Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed the news on his social media profile. He wrote a rather interesting tweet, “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her...Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life.”
The reasons are still unknown as to why Priyanka Chopra opted out of Salman Khan staring film. But it is been speculated that Priyanka Chopra is getting married to Nick Jonas and cannot commit the desired dates.

Actress #PriyankaChopra said she had wrapped up shooting for the Hollywood film "Isn't It Romantic" and adores all her co stars.
Priyanka on Sunday night shared a photograph of herself along with her co-stars Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine and Liam Hemsworth on her twitter account.

Bollywood Hails Nirbhaya Verdict
Bollywood actresses like #PriyankaChopra, #AnushkaSharma, #BhumiPednekar, #EshaGupta and more supports and hails the Supreme Court verdict to uphold the death sentence to four convicts who gang-raped and murdered a young Delhi professional in 2012.
