The shoot of the keenly awaited Emraan Hashmi-starrer "Cheat India" commences today in Lucknow.
In the video, the actor Emraan is playing with the alphabets of 'Teach', which incidentally, are the same as those of 'Cheat'. Hashmi's naughty wink at the end leaves you wondering whether he's the hunter or the villain!
The makers of "Hindi Medium", "Neerja" and "Tumhari Sulu", have collaborated again, this time to produce "Cheat India", a never-seen-before peek into the vagaries of the Indian education system.
Clearly aimed at Indian students, this edgy entertainer features Emraan Hashmi in the lead and starred rolling Lucknow today.
More than 75 actors from UP, including real students from various colleges and universities, have been cast.
The film is directed by Soumik Sen. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Emraan Hashmi, the film is slated for 25th January 2019 release.
