Anupam Kher leaves for New York to began shooting for NBC's show 'New Amsterdam'

#AnupamKher who is gearing up for new international projects said he will miss India and work hard to make the country proud while away for shooting.

Anupam Kher before leaving for NY posted a video message for his fans on his twitter actor. He wrote, "On my way to NY to act in @NBCNewAmsterdam- Medical drama series. Looking forward to it. Will be out of India for a substantial time. So will be missing my India but will work very hard to make all of you very proud. Will always need your love, best wishes and blessings."

In the minute long video Kher said, "I am leaving tonight to be part of the NBC's New Amsterdam. I will out for a few months, I am very happy to be part of the series which premiers on 25th of september 2018. It is a prime time show, but it also takes me away from my country for few months."
Leaving a heavy sigh he said, "I wont say I am feel low but a little nervous and excited. I know you people will send me all your wishes love and blessings . New York here I come and India send me your love. Jai Ho!"

In addition to Anupam Kher, Eggold, and Agyeman, the cast of the series also includes Janet Montgomery, Jocko Sims, and Tyler Labine.

Produced by Universal Television, Pico Creek Productions, and Mount Moriah, 'New Amsterdam' is series follows the brilliant and charming Dr. Max Goodwin played by Ryan Eggold, the institution's newest medical director who sets out to tear up the bureaucracy and provide exceptional care.

The project was set up at NBC in September with a put pilot commitment.

Anupam who has worked in numerous foreign projects has also been nominated for the Virgin TV British Academy Television Awards in 2018 for his work in the adaptation of Satnam Sanghera's memoir "The Boy with the Topknot", a TV movie.
