Aishwarya Rai Bachchan hopes audience will become WCI soldiers
#AishwaryaRaiBachchan says she hopes audience and media will become #WCI (Women's Cancer Initiative) soldiers and spread awareness about women cancer.
Aishwarya who supports the Women's Cancer Initiative was present at the 'Soul Stirrings' event on Tuesday in Mumbai organized by WCI and Tata memorial hospital.
When wishing the best for WCI and sharing her thoughts about the initiative, Rai said, "I am here with Devieka Aunty and with the WCI (Women's Cancer Initiative) and their partnership with Tata memorial hospital. The WCI has been tirelessly working for fifteen years and I was with them in their initial year as well. My support has been ongoing and well always be there. It is a very important movement that needs constant work for innumerable years.
Media and audience have to be our soldier spreading our word because it is really about educating women in our country increasing their awareness and having them go in for regular check ups. Early detection gives hope for a possible cure."
The actress and former Miss World has been part of WCI since the initiative's first Pink Think fundraiser in 2003.

Aishwarya was spotted at a special screening of the movie, along with costar Anil Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Divya Khosla Kumar, Pihu Sand, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Atul Manjrekar and Girish Kulkarni on tuesday.
Talking about 'Fanney Khan' and her excitement for the release she said, "I hope the audience goes out and enjoys watching this movie as much as the team did while making it. Anil Kapoor Unveils Fanney Khan Official Poster
The musical remake #FanneyKhan starring #AnilKapoor, #AishwaryaRaiBachchan and #RajkummarRao, finally unveils its first look poster and it is an ode to Bollywood musical maestro.
Veteran actor Anil Kapoor dropped the first look poster of Fanney Khan on his social media profile. He wrote, “Yeh aise hi ek #Fanney Khan ki kahani hai...meri kahani...Teaser out on June 26! #AishwaryaRai @RajkummarRao @tseriesmusic @fanneykhanfilm @ROMPPictures @AtulManjrekar”
In the first look poster, Anil Kapoor is seen standing with a Tiffin-box and Trumpet in his hand. The poster also features late singer Mohammad Rafi, which is truly an ode to Bollywood musical maestro.
The film is helmed by Atul Manjrekar, it is being co-produced by T-Series and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures Productions and is in association with Anil Kapoor Films Company Network.
Fanney Khan is reportedly inspired by the 2000 Dutch film, Everybody's Famous, which was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars.

Fanne Khan Gets A Release Date
The release date of #AishwaryaRaiBachchan, #RajkummarRao and #AnilKapoor's Fanne Khan has been finalized. The musical drama will release on 3 August 2018.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the new release date on social media. He wrote, “#FanneKhan release date finalised: 3 Aug 2018... Stars Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao... Gulshan Kumar presentation... TSeries and ROMP Pictures production... Atul Manjrekar directs”
Fanne Khan is the Hindi adaptation of the Dutch film Everybody's Famous. Produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and directed by Atul Manjrekar, the film is scheduled for a worldwide release in June.
In Fanne Khan, Aishwarya will be seen portraying a rock star, well known for her singing and dancing skills. Her character is reportedly kidnapped by Anil Kapoor, who plays a father to a budding singer and wants to make way for her in the music industry. The film also stars Divya Dutta in a pivotal role.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended an event in Pune organized by the Bunt Community, the former beauty queen was bestowed with a Woman of Substance title and Aishwarya looked elated.
The actor looked drop dead gorgeous in a hot pink saree style lehenga with contrasting pallu. She kept her hair stick straight and rounded her look by donning a shiny bindi on her forehead.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to be felicitated at IFFM
Actress #Aishwarya_Rai_Bachchan will be felicitated at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne #IFFM for her contribution to global cinema.
IFFM is Australia's biggest annual celebration of Indian cinema. Celebrating ‘India at 70!' as a part of the festival's celebration of Indian cinema, Aishwarya will be hoisting the Indian national flag at Melbourne's Federation Square. She will be the first Indian woman to do so.
The actress will also be felicitated by the Victorian Government at the Westpac IFFM Awards night on August 11.

Aishwarya to start shooting for 'Fanney Khan' from August
Actress #Aishwarya_Rai_Bachchan will begin shooting for #Fanney_Khan from August. It is set for April 2018 release.
"Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to start shooting for 'Fanney Khan' from August. A T-Series, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures and KriArj Entertainment presentation. April 2018 release," read a tweet posted by T-Series on Sunday.
The film will bring Aishwarya and actor-producer Anil Kapoor together on the big screen after almost two decades.
They had previously shared screen space in the 2000 film "Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai" and the 1999 hit musical "Taal".
Talking about the film, Anil had earlier told: "It has a fantastic script. It's a musical. I am really thrilled to be part of the film. It's the first time that I am playing a character whose name is Khan."

Amitabh, Aishwarya, Aamir invited to join Oscar Academy
Actors #Amitabh_Bachchan, #Aishwarya_Rai_Bachchan, #Aamir_Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, apart from directors like Mrinal Sen, Buddhadeb Dasgupta and Goutam Ghose are among the Indians invited to be a part of the #Oscar_Academy's 'Class of 2017'.
The announcement was made on Wednesday.
"We're proud to invite our newest class to the Academy. The entire motion picture community is what we make of it," Cheryl Boone Isaacs, President of the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences, was quoted as saying on the official Oscar website.
"It's up to all of us to ensure that new faces and voices are seen and heard, and to take a shot on the next generation the way someone took a shot on each of us," Isaacs added.

Still in talks: Abhishek Bachchan on film with Aishwarya
The Bollywood grapevine is abuzz that real life husband and wife #Abhishek_Bachchan and #Aishwarya_Rai_Bachchan are coming together for a film. But Abhishek says they are still in talks and that he would rather have the producer make the announcement.
The two actors are reportedly being cast in Anurag Kashyap's production titled "Gulab Jamun".
Asked about it, Abhishek told the media here: "That film is not directed by Anurag Kashyap. It will have a new director and will be produced by Anurag Kashyap. We are still in talks with Anurag about that and right now we can't announce anything because I feel the producer is the right person when it comes to announcing a film."
Abhishek spoke on the sidelines of the 20-year celebration of the movie "Border" here on Sunday.

Make-up, like music, uplifts and sets your mood, says Aishwarya
Indian actress and former Miss World #Aishwarya_Rai_Bachchan has been representing India at the #Cannes_Film_Festival for over a decade -- once as a jury member, then for a movie and multiple times for a cosmetic brand. She says wearing make-up is part of her lifestyle as she belongs to the glamour industry, but she really feels it is as good as music in setting her mood for a day.
The world has seen the blue-eyed beauty in different characters in films -- whether it was the vulnerable prisoner in "Provoked", the beautiful Bengali girl in "Devdas", the young Gujarati girl in "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" or an angry sister in "Sarbjit". Aishwarya looks princess-like at Cannes red carpet
With her hair open, her subtle make-up paired with dark-hued lips, Indian actress #Aishwarya_Rai_Bachchan looked every inch a royal princess at the the #70th_Annual_Cannes_Film_festival in a floor-sweeping powder blue ballroom gown by Dubai-based Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco.
The former beauty queen looked stunning in the off-shoulder gown, fitted from the waist and flowing out into a ballroom dress with a plunging neckline.She made her way to the red carpet as the ambassador of global cosmetic brand L'Oreal Paris on Day 3 of the gala.
The 43-year-old actress not only posed for the shutterbugs at the red carpet, but also at one moment folded her hands to gesture 'Namastey'.
Aishwarya's red carpet look was much different from the first look from the fiesta, where she sported a bottle green layered dress embellished ensemble with colourful floral motifs by Yanina Couture.
