After a spooky teaser, #ShraddhaKapoor unveils the first look poster of forthcoming horror flick #Stree on social media.
Shraddha Kapoor dropped the poster on her social media profile. She wrote, “Iss 31 August, Mard ko dard hoga. Stree aa rahi hai! #OStree31stAugKoAana @MaddockFilms #DineshVijan @RajkummarRao #PankajTripathi @amarkaushik #RajAndDk @rajndk @krishdk”
Stree pairs Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor for the first time in a horror genre film, helmed by Amar Kaushik. The film is written by Raj and D.K who have earlier directed and written films like Go Goa Gone, Happy Ending, Shor in the City and A Gentleman.
The 'Omerta' star Rajkummar Rao earlier released the teaser of the film. The video shows that the story is based on a ridiculously true phenomenon. The camera travels through a dark village which shows graffiti on house walls reading O Stree Kal Aana, and then finally #OStree31stAugKoAana when a flying shadow appears on the wall.
The teaser does not feature the lead stars and does not give a vibe of a comedy, but a true horror film part from its tag line 'Mard ko Dard hoga'.
It is produced by Dinesh Vijan, under the banner of Maddock Films, the film releases on 31st August.
