Film Industry Pays Tribute to Karunanidhi
The entire South Indian Film Fraternity, which includes names like #Rajinikanth, #KamalHaasan, #Ajith, #Surya, #Dhanush and many more descended upon Chennai's Rajaji Hall to pay their last respects to the political leader popularly referred to as #Kalaignar.
Respected and loved political leader and DMK president M. Karunanidhi passed away after battling prolonged illness, yesterday. The “Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam” (DMK) President – M. Karunanidhi passed away on Tuesday evening after multiple organ failure due to prolonged age-related illness at the age of 94.
Politicians and celebrities from across the country immediately took to social media to pay their last respects before the five-term Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s funeral.
Legendary actor Rajinikanth, Aishwarya, Dhanush, Ajith, Kamal Haasan, Surya and many more showed up at Rajaji Hall to pay their last respects to the political leader popularly referred to as Kalaignar.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui To Share Screen Space with Rajinikanth
Here comes an amazing news for all #NawazuddinSiddiqui fans, the actor is all set to share screen space with south Indian superstar #Rajinikanth.
Nawaz has been roped in to essay a key role in Superstar Rajinikanth's film with director Karthik Subbaraj. While confirming the news, Sun Pictures also revealed that noted actress Simran has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite Rajini in the film.

Akshay Kumar And Rajinikanth Starrer 2.0 Gets A Release Date
Finally, the maker of 2.0 – starring #Rajinikanth and #AkshayKumar confirms the release date for the film and unveils a stunning new poster.
Lyca Productions official handle confirmed the release date of 2.0 on social media. It said, “With Great Pride and Immense Excitement announcing the release date of our #MagnumOpus #2Point0 - November 29Th, 2018. Gear up to view the Ultimate Clash #GoodOrEvil #WhoDecides @shankarshanmugh @rajinikanth @akshaykumar @arrahman @iamAmyJackson #2Point0FromNov29.”
The film was earlier slated for April 2018 release but due to post-production VFX work, the movie was delayed. The VFX works of 2.0 are being handled by multiple studios across the globe and have consumed more time than expected. Now the makers of 2.0, Lyca Productions confirmed the release of the film, which is November 29th, 2018.
2.0 is written and directed by S. Shankar, co-written by B. Jeyamohan, and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah. The film serves as a spiritual successor to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran and features Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.

I Am A Huge Rajni Fan – Aamir Khan
Superstar #AamirKhan shares the Hindi trailer of #Kaala, which is releasing today in theaters and expresses that he can’t wait to watch the film.
Dangal star Aamir Khan dropped the new Hindi trailer of Rajinikanth starrer Kaala on his social media profile. He wrote, “Have always been a huge Rajni fan, can’t wait to watch Kaala”
Directed by Pa Ranjith, Kaala has Rajinikanth playing a gangster while Huma Qureshi, Samuthirakani, Eswari Rao and Nana Patekar playing important roles.
The buzz around the film is very high and the film is expected to earn good collections worldwide as it is releasing in 700 theaters. According to reports, Kaala has made Rs.230 crores from theatrical, satellite and digital rights even before it hit the screens. And considering the hype, the bookings in the first week are all full and the film is already considered to be a hit commercially.
On the work front, Aamir Khan is currently busy with Thugs Of Hindostan, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
The film's plot is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug, about a thug (also known as a thuggee) called Ameer Ali, whose gang of thugs posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India (then known as Hindustan or Hindostan) during the early 19th century. The film tells a fictional story set between 1790 and 1805.

In the first look poster, Huma Qureshi looks stunning and different than her previous on-screen roles. And this is the first time she will be seen sharing screen space with Tamil superstar.

Kaala is an upcoming multi-lingual political action drama film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Dhanush.
The movie stars Rajinikanth in the lead role, the movie also stars Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani, Anjali Patil, Aravind Akash, Sayaji Shinde, Pankaj Tripathi and Sakshi Agarwal in key roles. The teaser and trailer for the film are already out and viral!

Rajinikanth can meet PM if he wants: Naidu
There is no problem if Tamil superstar #Rajinikanth wants to meet Prime Minister #Narendra_Modi, Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said on Sunday.
"Rajnikanth is a great actor. Modi is a great leader. There is no problem if he (Rajnikanth) wants to meet the Prime Minister," Naidu told reporters at a campus event here.
Naidu's observation came in light of the 67-year-old megastar's hints of entering politics soon at a meeting with his ardent fans in Chennai on Friday.
"I am not aware of any possible meeting between Rajinikanth and Modi," said Naidu after unveiling the statue of prominent industrialist and philanthropist M. S. Ramaiah, who founded the Gokula Education Foundation in the city during the early 1960s.

If God wills, I'll enter politics: Rajinikanth
Superstar #Rajinikanth on Monday kept his fans guessing on his entry into politics, saying if it is God's will, he will step into the arena.
The actor, who met his fans after a gap of some eight years here, also said if he enters politics, he will be truthful and will not entertain people who want to make money.
"God decides what we have to do in life. Right now, he wants me to be an actor and I'm fulfilling my responsibility. If God willing, I will enter politics tomorrow. If I enter, I will be very truthful and will not entertain people who are in this to make money. I won't work with such people," Rajinikanth told his fans, who had gathered at Raghavendra Mandapam here.
One of his die-hard fans said: "If Rajinikanth sir becomes a politician, he will be the best."
Another fan said: "Thalaiva should announce his own party and clean up Tamil Nadu. He is the only one who can save Tamil Nadu and take it forward again."
