Finally, the maker of 2.0 – starring #Rajinikanth and #AkshayKumar confirms the release date for the film and unveils a stunning new poster.
Lyca Productions official handle confirmed the release date of 2.0 on social media. It said, “With Great Pride and Immense Excitement announcing the release date of our #MagnumOpus #2Point0 - November 29Th, 2018. The film was earlier slated for April 2018 release but due to post-production VFX work, the movie was delayed. The VFX works of 2.0 are being handled by multiple studios across the globe and have consumed more time than expected. Now the makers of 2.0, Lyca Productions confirmed the release of the film, which is November 29th, 2018.
2.0 is written and directed by S. Shankar, co-written by B. Jeyamohan, and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah. The film serves as a spiritual successor to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran and features Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.
The film is being shot simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi, and additional dubbed releases in 13 other languages.
