Veteran Actor #AnupamKher introduces the talented and dynamic filmmaker #VijayRatnakarGutte, who is directing the forthcoming biopic, #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister, and urges fans for wishes and blessings.
Anupam Kher took to his social media profile and shared series of new stills from the film and introduced a debut filmmaker Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, who is directing The Accidental Prime Minister.
The actor wrote, “Introducing @GutteVijay the dynamic director of our movie #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister. It is his debut film but he has an amazing grasp of the medium. He is unassuming and wonderfully focused. He is caring and stubborn. He will need your wishes and blessings. @TAPMofficial”
The Accidental Prime Minister is an upcoming biographical political drama film directed by debut filmmaker Vijay Ratnakar Gutte and written by Mayank Tewari.
The film stars Anupam Kher as Manmohan Singh, the economist and politician who served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014 under the United Progressive Alliance. The film is based on the 2014 memoir of the same name by Sanjaya Baru.
The film also features Akshaye Khanna as Sanjaya Baru, Suzanne Bernert as Sonia Gandhi, Aahana Kumra as Priyanka Gandhi and Vimal Verma as Lalu Prasad Yadav.
It is scheduled to release on 21 December 2018.
