Here comes some big announcements from #RanveerSingh, the actor wrapped up the shooting of his next venture #GullyBoy and expressed his excitement over winning #DadasahebPhalke Excellence Award for Padmaavat.
Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. The actor will play a rapper in the film. Gully Boy also stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role. Ranveer has finished the shooting of the film and shared wrap-up selfies on social media.
He shared a picture with Zoya Akhtar calling her bae, Ranveer wrote, “Bae & I made for each other I love you #ZoyaAkhtar thank you for this unique and unforgettable experience #gullyboy”
Ranveer Singh’s last outing with Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, Padmaavat, helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has fetched him another prestigious award and the actor is excited about it.
Sharing a picture with the Award, Ranveer Singh wrote, “Honoured to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for my performance in #Padmaavat #anotherone #Khilji”
Gully Boy is an upcoming musical drama film based on the lives of Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naezy known for their song "Mere Gully Mein" in Mumbai. It is confirmed for release on 14 February 2019.
Apart from Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh is also shooting for Simmba, which is his first outing with Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar. The movie also stars debutante Sara Ali Khan.
