The actress looked beautiful in the bridal avatar and groom was no less than her! During the wedding ceremony Shweta wore a mint and red coloured lehenga by Papa Don't Preach and she looked extremely beautiful. Shweta accentuated her bridal look with a golden maathapatti, spectacular choker and gold earrings. And the rapper hubby, Chaitanya complemented his bride in a maroon kurta-pyjama set.

The wedding happened as per Hindu traditions. The pictures are every bit dreamy. They happily took the pheras, after which Chaitnya tied the mangalsutra around Shweta's neck. The newlyweds clearly couldn't hold their excitement.

Shweta Tripathi and Chaitanya Sharma, whose stage name is Slow Cheeta, the couple first met during a stage performance in New Delhi and shared the return flight Mumbai where they fell in love. Earlier this year, Chaitanya proposed to Shweta on stage and she said yes.

Talking about the wedding, Shweta said, “I am super excited. Now all the butterflies that I had are gone now. Right now, I just want to start the party and celebrate”

The duo combined Mehendi ceremony, which was followed by a late night party. Bollywood celebrities such as Vivaan Shah, Kiran Rao, Puneet Issar, Sapna Pabbi, and a lot more graced the party.

Talking about her Mehendi pattern, which caught the attention of Internet, Shweta shared some details about printing football and groom’s name on her hand.

She said, “Football is Chaitanya’s first love, so I have football drawn on my hand during the Mehedi ceremony, plus I have his name written”

Talking about the outfits, Shweta added, “Chaitanya is wearing Shantanu and Nikkhil, I am wearing Sonam and Payal Modi’s” 

Shweta Tripathi included elements of her and Chaitanya's love story in the henna pattern. For example, there's a pattern of theatre masks in her mehendi, which represents the place where they first met. You can spot a plane made in henna, which represents the air journey during which they fell in love.

Chaitanya Sharma aka Slow Cheetah is tying the knot with actress Shweta Tripathi on June 29th in Goa. The couple hosted a Mehndi ceremony and party for friends here in Mumbai.

During media interaction, Chaitanya expressed his excitement about the wedding. He said, “I am really excited. I am going to start partying and I will party for three-four days. I am excited about the wedding, look at her, who wouldn’t be excited to get married to her. I got such a beautiful wife; I cannot wait to get married” 

Shweta Tripathi’s innovative Mehendi caught internet by storm and Chaitanya shares the thought behind the unusual patterns.

He said, “There is so much happening in her Mehndi. I like football, so there is a football on her hand. She is Cancerian, so her star sign is a crab, there is a crab on her hand. We met on a plane, so there is a plane. I proposed to her on a rollercoaster, so there is rollercoaster as well. Our entire story is in her hands”

The late-night party was graced by Vivaan Shah, Kiran Rao, Puneet Issar, Sapna Pabbi, Rasika Duggal, Sumit Vyas, Shikha Talsania, Angira Dhar, and a lot more were seen at the occasion.
