#TaapseePannu dedicates #SoormaAnthem to all the Soorma's in the world as she released the Film's Anthem song.
Actress Taapsee who is currently shooting for 'Badla' with Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter and release the anthem song on Monday.
The tweet read, "Dedicated to all the #Soormas in the world! #SoormaAnthem out NOW! http://bit.ly/SoormaAnthem @sonypicsprodns @ShankarEhsanLoy #Gulzar Saab @sonymusicindia @DiljitDosanjh @Imangadbedi @shaadesh"
The electrifying number has been voiced by Shankar Mahadevan and penned by none other than Gulzar. The video features glimpses from the earlier released trailer showing Sandeep Singh's hardships and determination.
Soorma tells the story of the international hockey player Sandeep Singh, who was paralyzed and used a wheelchair for two years after an accidental gunshot injured him in 2006. Under his captaincy, India won the 2009 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup and went on to qualify for the 2012 Olympics.
Directed by Shaad Ali, the film stars Diljit Dosanjh as Sandeep Singh, Tapsee Pannu as Harpreet and Angad Bedi as Bikramjeet Singh.
Produced by Sony Pictures the film is scheduled to release on 13th July 2018.
