Over the last few weeks, rumour mills have been buzzing with tattle that a sequel to the Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt starrer ‘Sadak’ is in the offing. The whispers gained credence when Sanjay was recently spotted at Mahesh Bhatt’s office with Pooja.

Now Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on social media. He wrote, “IT'S OFFICIAL... #Sadak2 to release on 15 Nov 2019... Lead cast and other details will be announced shortly... Produced by Mukesh Bhatt... Mahesh Bhatt in association with Vishesh Films present the film.”

The video features the footage of Mahie Gill and Chitrangda along side singer Jonita Gandhi recording the melodious song Lag Ja Gale in studio. The song origianlly sung by Lata Mangeshkar got revamped by composer Rana Mazumder on the originally composition by Madan Mohan.

The actor who is gearing up for the release on 'Saheb Biwi aur Gangster 3' is set out to write his autobiography that will be published by HarperCollins.

Sanjay in a statement said, "I have had the fortune of living a remarkable life, full of ups and downs, joys and sorrows. There are so many interesting stories to tell that I've never had the chance to tell before. I am looking forward so much to sharing my memories and emotions with readers everywhere," 

Apart from his professional accomplishments, the actor's ebbs and flows will be captured in his memoir. His story has been told and retold in the media and through books by other authors, but it's the first time Sanjay will be opening up his heart in a book about losing his mother Nargis Dutt as he was making his debut in "Rocky"; his battle with substance abuse, multiple heartbreaks, encounters with the law and a staggered stint in prison, alongside his closeness to his father Sunil Dutt, his superstardom, his physique and his return to the big screen and his family life.

Udayan Mitra, Publisher - Literary, HarperCollins India, said: "I am absolutely thrilled that we will be bringing out Sanjay Dutt's autobiography in the summer of 2019. He' a star like no other, and what an extraordinary life he has had.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne is a celebration of Indian cinema in the land down under. This year the festival will be taking place from 10th - 22nd August 2018, under the unifying theme of inclusion.

On talking about the screening he said, "It’s always an enriching experience when people of different diaspora watch our films. I look forward to the special screening of Sanju for the students at La Trobe. It would be an interesting experience to see the reactions of those who are almost alien to Hindi films and the life of Sanjay Dutt."

This year, the festival is delighted and proud to present Rajkumar Hirani as the key guest who will celebrate Indian Cinema along with the diaspora at IFFM. The director who’s currently riding on a huge success wave after his film Sanju has gone on to becoming the highest grosser of 2018.

Rajkumar Hirani will be screening the film Sanju for university students from La Trobe. He will introduce the film, talk about Sanjay Dutt and show them a very different sort of biopic something they aren’t familiar with. For many this will be their first Bollywood film ever.

Presented by Sanjay Dutt the film went of floor on 1st of June. The intense family drama stars, Sanjay, Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff , Chunky Pandey, Amyra Dastur, and Ali Fazal.

Paresh Ghelani tweeted, "It has been many years of staying away from the social media. I finally give in to embrace it. As I begin, here's to you my brother Sanjay Dutt, a note that I have been writing in my head and heart for a very long time and now here it is all in the open," 

Ghelani shared his sentiments after watching the Rajkumar Hirani directorial on Sanjay's life, and about his relationship with Sanjay Dutt in a lengthy note attached with his post. "After watching the film 'Sanju', I was numb, numb with limitless emotions. I wanted to just hug him, hold on to him and cry. Cry endlessly to the years we stood by and witnessed this roller coaster called life and the irrevocable loss of loved one... To the mistakes we cannot do undo, to the strength we cannot find elsewhere but in each other."

Rahul Mittra is a well known Indian Award Winning Filmmaker who has produced path-breaking films like Saheb Biwi aur Gangster (2011), Saheb Biwi aur Gangster Returns (2013), Bullett Raja (2013), Revolver Rani (2014), Sarkar 3 (2017) and is currently producing Saheb Biwi aur Gangster 3 and Torbaaz with Sanjay Dutt.

Talking about his latest franchise Saheb Biwi aur Gangster 3 and Sanjay Dutt, the producer has something really interesting to say, he said, “See, we don’t have much franchise in Indian cinema, only a handful, and most of those are namesake franchise, they are not really franchise; they are just title franchise. The story doesn’t really move forward in them and with every installment they change the story and characters too”

After Randeep Hooda and Irrfan Khan, superstar Sanjay Dutt has been roped in to play the role of main villain in the film.

Talking about roping the hunk, Rahul expressed that it was not that hard to get Sanjay Dutt to play the gangster.

Agneepath director Karan Malhotra is all set to direct another Sanjay Dutt blockbuster 'Shamshera'. 

The official handle of YRF just issued the date in press release. They captioned it, “#Shamshera to release on July 31, 2020! #RanbirKapoor | @karanmalhotra21 | @duttsanjay | @Vaaniofficial | @ShamsheraMovie.”

Directed by Karan Malhotra, who directed the blockbuster Agneepath, Shamshera is a desi, high-octane masala film. An edge of seat adventure, it is set in the heart land of India and will have jaw-dropping action sequences and a never seen before Ranbir Kapoor. Sanjay Dutt takes on Ranbir as he plays ruthless, merciless villain in the film.

Rajkumar Hirani released the song on his social media profile. He wrote, “Thank you for all the love for #SANJU. Feel overwhelmed and humbled. The song aims to make fun of headlines, which publishes glossy gossips about celebrities, in this case Sanjay Dutt. The highlight of the song is camaraderie between the real Sanju and the reel Sanju as they shake a leg to the song.

The song is crooned by Papon, Ranbir Kapoor and Supriya Pathak and it is been written by Vikram Montrose. Sanjay and Ranbir are seen sporting matching outfits and bashing the media for portraying them in what they call is "poor light."

Talking about Sanjay Dutt in the film, Tigmanshu said, “Presence of Sanjay Dutt in the franchise has enhanced it, there is no denying it. See in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, I got my Saheb and Biwi, they are compulsory, and gangster keeps changing. First, it was Randeep Hooda, than Irrfan Khan and now Sanjay Dutt”

“And let me tell you the most difficult role in the franchise is that of the gangster. Because the motivation and conflicts of Saheb and Biwi are just the same and the gangster in my film is not a ruthless or bad person. This character is carrying a lot of pain, he is in love, and that love takes him to a different level and makes him do certain things, so he is not a black gangster. This gangster makes you cry” 

Sanjay Dutt graced the trailer launch of his upcoming action drama movie, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. During the media interaction the actor was asked about Ranbir Kapoor, who played the role of the actor in his biopic Sanju, the senior actor Sanjay Dutt was all praises.

He said, “Ranbir Kapoor is extraordinary in the film. I think the film is fantastic. I think Rajkumar Hirani and Vicky Kaushal, the entire team has done a fantastic job. The film has only shown the truth”

After Kaante And Agneepath, actor Sanjay Dutt is once again playing a grey character in the third installment of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. The actor also talked about his role, preparation and shoot.

Dia who has also worked with Sanjay Dutt in 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' said she bid on a original six-sheet poster of the landmark film 'Mother India' for the Dutt family, "I was part of a very beautiful and important auction to restore the heritage of cinema, and during that auction some very priceless memorabilia was being auctioned obviously and I found this six sheeter of 'Mother India'. I  thought it would make a very special gift for Sanju sir and his family so I bid for it."

Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing a grey character in the third installment of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster series. The actor shared the motion poster on his social media profile. Needless to say, Sanjay Dutt is looking dapper in the motion poster. He is seen sitting on the table with a gun in his hand and booze on the table. A true small town badass villain!

The third movie in the franchise is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and also stars Jimmy Shergill, Mahi Gill, and Chitrangada Singh among others. The flick will hit the big screens July 27.
