#YashRaj Films spectacle that pits #RanbirKapoor and #SanjayDutt in a bloody face off on the big screen is set to release on July 31, 2020.
The official handle of YRF just issued the date in press release. They captioned it, “#Shamshera to release on July 31, 2020! #RanbirKapoor | @karanmalhotra21 | @duttsanjay | @Vaaniofficial | @ShamsheraMovie.”
Directed by Karan Malhotra, who directed the blockbuster Agneepath, Shamshera is a desi, high-octane masala film. An edge of seat adventure, it is set in the heart land of India and will have jaw-dropping action sequences and a never seen before Ranbir Kapoor. Sanjay Dutt takes on Ranbir as he plays ruthless, merciless villain in the film.
Shamshera also stars Vaani Kapoor as a gorgeous temptress and her pairing with Ranbir makes it one of the most freshest Jodis on big screen. The film is set to go on floors end of the year and shooting will wrap by mid 2019.
Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor is currently enjoying the success of Sanju, which is a biopic based on Sanjay Dutt’s life. Ranbir Kapoor played the titular role.
And now with Shamshera, both are set to share screen space and have a bloody face-off, sounds exciting!
