The motion poster voice over has Prateik Babbar saying, "Shahid Mohammed ia my name. there was one Shahid Mohammed who in the Moscow Olympics won a Gold medal for India, and I acquired bomb training to kill innocent people, Why?" The poster reads, Shahid Mohammed, Misguided youth.

The Anubhav Sinha-directed film will see Rishi playing a character called Murad Ali Mohammed, accused of treason, while Taapsee plays his defence lawyer, Aarti Mohammed. The film is scheduled to release on 3rd August.
Taapsee will also appear in sports biopic Soorma with Diljit Dosanjh, releasing on 13th july 2018.
