Manisha Koirala redefines the term Selfish as prioritising yourself
Manisha who was last seen portraying the role of Nargin in #SanjayDutt #biopic, shared a self care inspired portrait on Instagram.
The actress shared glowing picture and captioned saying it is perfectly fine to prioritise yourself.
"I have redefined the term 'selfish'. Looking after oneself is important and this includes both the physical and emotional aspects. It is okay to be sad. We are multidimensional beings. The emotional aspect matters a great deal to me. It pulls me down and manifests itself in my body. So, I now emphasise that it is perfectly fine to prioritise yourself."

Looking Forward To Taking Sanju To Indian Film Festival – Rajkumar Hirani
After an incredible success worldwide, #RajkumarHirani now heads to the #IndianFilmFestival of Melbourne to screen #Sanju for Australian students!
The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne is a celebration of Indian cinema in the land down under. This year the festival will be taking place from 10th - 22nd August 2018, under the unifying theme of inclusion.
On talking about the screening he said, "It’s always an enriching experience when people of different diaspora watch our films. I look forward to the special screening of Sanju for the students at La Trobe. It would be an interesting experience to see the reactions of those who are almost alien to Hindi films and the life of Sanjay Dutt."
This year, the festival is delighted and proud to present Rajkumar Hirani as the key guest who will celebrate Indian Cinema along with the diaspora at IFFM. The director who’s currently riding on a huge success wave after his film Sanju has gone on to becoming the highest grosser of 2018.
Rajkumar Hirani will be screening the film Sanju for university students from La Trobe. He will introduce the film, talk about Sanjay Dutt and show them a very different sort of biopic something they aren’t familiar with. For many this will be their first Bollywood film ever.

I was apprehensive to play the character of Nargis Dutt: Manisha Koirala
Actress #ManishaKoirala, who was last seen onscreen in a Netflix film 'Lust Stories', said she was anxious to play the role of #NargisDutt.
Manisha Koirala was interacting with media to promote her forthcoming film 'Sanju' on Tuesday in Mumbai.
Manisha Koirala and Sanjay Dutt's mother Nargis Dutt, both suffered from cancer. But only Manisha Koirala survived through.When asked about her role in 'Sanju' as Nargis Dutt, Manisha Koirala said: "I was actually more apprehensive to play the character of Nargis Dutt... as I didn't want to relive those memories... I also had no idea whether I will be able to relive that or not."
Manisha who plays the role of Sanjay Dutt's mother in the biopic 'Sanju' was asked who will be an ideal actress to play her onscreen, if her biopic were to be made, she said. "I don't think any film will be made on my life, but if it's made, I think Alia (Bhatt) or Kangana (Ranaut) should play my character onscreen."

Manisha Koirala to play Sanjay Dutt's Wife in Prasthaanam
Sanjay Dutt’s Productions's next, the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit film #Prasthaanam, is all set to bring back the successful pair of #SanjayDutt and #ManishaKoirala after 10 years!
The original Prasthaanam had created a lot of buzz in the Telugu industry and went on to become a super-hit film, winning several awards.
Prasthaanam an intense, thrilling family drama stars Sanjay Dutt in one of the lead roles, with Manisha Koirala playing his onscreen wife.
The duo share a long journey all the way back to 1992, when they acted in their first film together – Yalgaar! Following this, through their career they have worked on various successful films together.
Director Deva Katta shares, "Each character in Prasthaanam has a very strong role to play for which we needed actors with great caliber. When the team came up with the idea to cast Manisha Koirala to play onscreen wife of Sanjay Dutt it was a perfect match in my mind. I am looking forward to direct them both especially since they are coming back together after 10years."

Playing Nargis is actress's dream role: Manisha Koirala
#ManishaKoirala who is playing the role of Sanjay Dutt's mother, Nargis in the Dutt biopic said, playing Nargis is every actress's dream role.
Manisha Koirala was present at the launch of Dr. Yusuf Merchant's book titled, 'Happyness: Life Lessons From A creative' on Saturday.
When asked to share any information about her playing Nargi Dutt's character in Sanju, biopic Manisha said, "I am really honored to be able to play Nargis Dutt-Ji. It's like any actresses dream role. My character is just a small special appearance but I am really excited about it and the film's release."
When talking about Dr. Yusuf Merchant's book titled, 'Happyness: Life Lessons From A creative' Manisha said Our society has turned the topic of mental illness into a taboo.
"Our society has turned mental illness in a taboo. Everyone on social media looks so happy and perfect but that does not mean that when some is sad or depressed it is abnormal. I think its the most normal thing.
And in today's challenging times and the kind of stress level and anxiety, it is normal to feel sad. Its good to accept it, get help if needed and not to be ashamed of it."
The Sanjay Dutt biopic titled 'Sanju' is presented by Fox star studios. The film will star Manisha Koirala, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Tabu and many more.

Manisha Koirala is honored with ‘Most Versatile Actress in Indian Cinema’
Actress #ManishaKoirala graced the #DadasahebPhalkefilmfoundationawards2018 being held in Mumbai. During her media interaction, Manisha expressed her gratitude for being awarded.

On the occasion of 149th Dadasaheb Phalke Jayanti, Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation hosted the award ceremony to honor the notable personalities who have done exceptionally well in the Television, Digital, and Film industry.
Actor Amit Sadh bagged the Award for his amazing performance in web series Breathe. Talking about his win, he said, “I am greatly humbled and grateful that I am getting this honor. I am being awarded for my work in web-series Breathe”
Manish Paul bagged the Best Entertainer Television award expressed his excitement over the win. He said, “I am feeling great. It obviously feels very good getting an award. We work hard and when that hard work is acknowledged, I don’t think there is anything bigger than that. Dadasaheb Phalke is the maker, he started everything and we work hard to honor his hard-work”
Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan won the Lifetime achievement award and contribution as an actor, producer, and director. Veteran actress Farida Jalal was also honored with Saraswatibai Dadasaheb Phalke Best Actress Lifetime award.

Don't strangle celebrities with expectations: Manisha Koirala
Actress #Manisha_Koirala says celebrities shouldn't be strangled with expectations.
Manisha, a cancer survivor, campaigns for the cause and has lent her support to preventing violence against women and human trafficking.
Does her celebrity status help in making a difference?
"Any celebrity or a public figure would have an impact on the society, but having said that... don't strangle them with expectations as at the end of the day they are also human beings," Manisha responded to a question.
The 46-year-old added: "People who are not celebrities should also be responsible in spreading social messages."
