Cheat India is the first production from Emraan Hashmi Films. The actor will also be seen starring in the film.
Earlier in a statement Emraan said, "The script and title of Cheat India are supremely powerful. This is among the most engaging and riveting stories I've read in a while and I am thrilled to be essaying what I believe will be a landmark role in my filmography.
The film is set to be a drama inspired by real incidents in the Indian education system. The film tag like Nakal Mein Hi Akal Hai suggest a entertaining take on the serious issue.
