Taapsee heads home to surprise dad for his retirement
#TaapseePannu, currently basking in the praise for #AnuragKashyap’s #Manmarziyaan is headed home to surprise dad for his retirement between a packed schedule.
Taapsee who never fails to show her fans a glimpse of her family life with the help of her sister, surprised her father by showing up at the door with a cake and bouquet in hand.
When talking about the cute gesture Taapsee in a statement said, "I had been waiting to see this day when my father would finally retire from decades of work he has been doing. Used to see him go to work driving a scooter and later a car for minimum 2-3 hours everyday. His office always used to be far away from our residence and once I started working I always wanted to see this day he doesn’t need to work anymore and can finally relax and do whatever he wants to in a day with no obligation."

Petrified of directing a film says Abhishek Bachchan
Actor #AbhishekBachchan, who was last seen in #Manmarziyaan has said that he is petrified of directing a film.
Abhishek Bachchan was interacting with media at Jagran Cinema Summit 2018 on Friday in Mumbai.
Abhishek Bachchan made his acting debut in JP Dutta’s ‘Refugee’ in 2000 and in the span of 18 years, he has acted in 60 odd films when asked Abhishek whether he has plans to direct a film in future, he said, “I am petrified of directing a film. I have been having tough enough time being an actor. I think direction is completely different discipline. I understand why actors sometime feel creative urge to direct a film but I never felt that till date but I am pretty sure if I want to do down the line then, I will make sure to learn it. I don’t think just because you are an actor so you can become a director. Directing is 360 degree kind of a job where acting is just related to a scene which I am going to do on that day so as of now, I don’t think I can direct a film and if I do then I will make a terrible film.”

#Manmarziyan producer #AnandLRai said he is excited to bring Zero as something new to the audience.
The director and producer Rai was spotted at the special screening of web series titled 'Side Hero’ on Thursday.
Aanand L Rai's larger than life project with Shah Rukh Khan titled Zero, will be coming out soon. When asked if he thinks the film will set new standard or bring change to the industry he said, I don't know what will change with 'Zero' but I am really excited that I will be here with something new and something that I haven't done before. I am really looking forward to bringing that to the audience."

Manmarziyaan' is a story of three individuals and not their religion justifies Anurag Kashyap
#Manmarziyaan has reportedly upset the Sikh community and justifying the film, director #Anurag said the story is of three persons and not Sikhism. He is sorry though the intention was not to hurt the community.
Reports suggests, members of the Sikh community in Ambala expressed displeasure over a scene in "Manmarziyaan" in which Abhishek and Taapsee, who play a Sikh couple, have been shown smoking.
Kashyap addressing the reports tweeted on Wednesday and wrote, "'Manmarziyaan' is a story of three individuals and not their religion. I am sorry if anyone feels genuinely hurt, but I would also request that please don't make this unnecessary political because it's not. I have always put out things the way they are without an agenda. Technology does not allow us to cut a scene and it affects the storytelling. So, I definitely cannot do that now. To those whose hurt is genuine, I offer a genuine apology, that wasn't my intention.
"And for those who are doing it for attention, I am glad you have got the attention."
He clarified the film is not commenting on a community, but talks about individuals and their choices. "Every step of the way, we asked for guidance from Sikh people for the film. When we shot the sequence in Gurudwara, we were told we can't shoot them getting married as it can't be faked. So we made the actors do only 'mattha tekna'."

Actress Taapsee Pannu released a video, which gives a little sneak-peek into the life of Rumi, her aspiration, struggle, inspiration and inner thought process, along with the process of discovering such a free-spirited and endearing character.

In the video, Taapsee is seen saying, “It is very difficult to define Rumi, I will not get into that...I just want to say one thing for me, she is someone you cannot be without...but when you’re with her, she is probably the most difficult person to be with...She speaks before she thinks...I think whatever is in her heart, will be on her face and what you hear...She is all heart.”

After back to back three massive hits, such as F for Fyaar, Daryaa and Grey Wala Shade, the makers of #Manmarziyaan are out with yet another peppy and upbeat number titled #Dhayaanchand.

Bijlee Giregi from Manmarziyaan, An Ode to Taapsee Pannu
#TaapseePannu as Rumi in upcoming romantic drama, #Manmarziyaan, is a girl on fire, a piece of a poem with too many twists! And now the makers of the film are out with a perfect ode to the hurricane, a girl who knows no fear.
The new song is titled Bijlee Giregi, which celebrates the true spirit of being fearless and living life on its own terms. The song is composed by Amit Trivedi and crooned by Devender Pal Singh and Babu Haabi.

#AnuragKashyap took to his twitter and shared the making of #VickyKaushal's hairstyle for #Manmarziyaan.
The director also disclosed that they plagiarised,music producer and singer Sukh-E's hairstyle.
"This was at 2 am, 4days before shoot @vickykaushal09 had gone straight to @aalimhakim , who had taken an overnight journey from another part of the world .. and we decided to plagiarise the hairstyle of @SukheMuzical for the plagiarist Vicky aka #DJSANDZZ #Manmarziyaan"
Vicky was recently honored with the award for the best supporting role at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne for Sanju.

Vicky was honored with the award for the best supporting role at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne for Sanju on Sunday.
Talking about sharing the stage with Manoj Bajpayee at the Melbourne film festival Vicky wrote on twitter, "I was an AD giving claps for scenes in GoW. Today, receiving an award along with @BajpayeeManoj Sir on the same platform of @IFFMelb ,this journey has only been possible because I got to observe & learn from fine actors like him. Vicky Kaushal has been in the limelight since the release of 'Raazi' with Alia Bhatt which followed a power-packed performance from the actor in the biopic 'Sanju' alongside Ranbir Kapoor.

Vicky Kaushal Unveils Manmarziyaan Poster, Confirms Trailer Release Date

Manmarziyan will see Bachchan return to the big screen after a gap of two years as he was last seen in the 2016 rom-com 'Housefull 3'.

Manmarziyaan Gets A New Release Date
Bollywood is going through release shuffle right now, the latest movie which is pre-poned is #Manmarziyaan, starring #AbhishekBachchan, #TaapseePannu and #VickyKaushal.
The official handle of Phantom Films confirmed the news about release date change. It said, “Friday feels fantastic! Kyun ki hamara wala Friday aa raha hai ek hafta jaldi. #Marmarziyaan will now be releasing on 14th Sept! @ErosIntlPlc @aanandlrai @anuragkashyap72 @juniorbachchan @taapsee @vickykaushal09 @cypplOfficial @ErosNow @RelianceEnt.”
The movie now will hit the theatres on 14th September. Manmarziyaan is an upcoming romantic drama film directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Kanika Dhillon. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, and Taapsee Pannu.
Initially, it was reported that Dulquer Salmaan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Bhumi Pednekar were cast in the film, but they dropped out of the film. Abhishek Bachchan was then brought in as a replacement for Dulquer Salmaan.

Taapsee Pannu launches Manmarziyaan official poster
#TaapseePannu who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film #Mulk took to twitter to launch the first official poster of her next film #Manmarziyaan.

The poster does not feature any of the cast members but title poster reading 'Manmarziyaan' in pink blending into yellow. The poster also reads the film's new relese date to be 21st September.
