Superstar #DiljitDosanjh unveils a new poster from his first ever sports biopic #Soorman, based on ace hockey player #SandeepSingh.

Soorma is a biopic of Indian hockey captain Sandeep Singh who had made headlines for his miraculous comeback after an unfortunate freak accident. Diljit will be seen stepping into the shoes of Sandeep Singh.
Soorma tells the story of the international hockey player Sandeep Singh, played by Diljit Dosanjh, who was paralyzed and used a wheelchair for two years after an accidental gun-shot injured him in 2006.
Fighting against all odds, Sandeep got back on his feet and made a comeback to international hockey in 2008. India won the 2009 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup under his captaincy and went on to qualify for the 2012 Olympics.
Directed by Shaad Ali, the movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Chitrangda Singh and Angad Bedi.
The film is scheduled to release on 13 July 2018.
