Many Bollywood celebrities are visiting #AnilKapoor’s family at their plush Juhu residence since the time Kapoor family has announced wedding of their eldest daughter #SonamKapoor with entrepreneur #AnandAhuja.
Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Madhu Mantena with wife Masaba Gupta, Fashion designer Kunal Rawal, Anupam Kher, Mohit Marwah with wife Antara Motiwala, Sanjay Kapoor, Mahip Kapoor, Satish Kaushik and Anshoola Kapoor visited Anil Kapoor’s residence on Friday night for sangeet and wedding preparation of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja.
Some videos shared by fan clubs give a glimpse of the ongoing preparations, in which the Kapoor cousins and Sonam's friends (such as Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Aarti Shetty and Kunal Rawal) are lined up for practice sessions. The Ahuja’s will get a grand welcome for sure because Kapoors ‘Swag Se Karenge Sabka Swaagat’ which can be seen from their dance practice session.
We could spot Anshula, Shanaya and Jahaan (children of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor) in the video but not Janhvi or Khushi Kapoor. As per reports Janhvi, who is gearing up for her Bollywood debut come July, will perform to a medley of her mother Sridevi's songs in Sonam’s sangeet ceremony which will include Mere Haathon Me Mein nau Nau Choodiyan Hai. Apart from that Ranveer Singh (Sonam's maternal cousin) and Arjun Kapoor are dancing to Anil Kapoor's ‘My Name Is Lakhan’ song.
Sonam Kapoor is getting married to Anand Ahuja on May 8 as per Sikh traditions. A grand reception for the newly-weds will be hosted later in the day. Before the wedding the Kapoors and Ahujas have invited their guests for a mehendi function on May 7.
Sonam Kapoor is also busy with promotional duties of Veere Di Wedding, which releases on June 1. Sonam will also walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14 and May 15.
