Actor and Producer #AnushkaSharma celebrates her birthday by announcing an animal shelter project.
Anushka know to be a strong advocate of animal rights, in a birthday post on her Instagram social account, shared a statement announcing her plans for building an animal shelter just outside Mumbai.
The post also followed a twitter post where the 'Pari' actress wrote, "I'm building an animal shelter just outside Mumbai - a home for those animals that are stranded, left to fend for themselves, have to brave harsh surroundings. A home where they will be cared for, loved, protected and nurtured. This has been my calling for years now and my dream is finally coming true. I will seek your time, support and advice to make this home a place that looks after fellow living beings with utmost care and compassion - all in due course of time,"
Husband Virat shared an adorable picture while feeding her the birthday cake on Twitter. He captioned it by saying, "Happy B'day my love. The most positive and honest person I know. Love you."
Anushka was last seen in 'Pari' directed by Prosit Roy. The actress led the title role and produced the horror thriller.
