#AnupamKher is excited with the announcement of Sonam and Anand’s wedding and shares an adorable video with the “bride to be” congratulating her.
Anil Kapoor recently made the announcement that Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will tie the knot on May 8 in Mumbai in the presence of only friends and family.
Anupam Kher congratulated bride-to-be Sonam Kapoor for her upcoming wedding on May 8. The veteran actor who has worked with Sonam in movies like Mausam and Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo took to his Instagram account and shared a video which featured the Veere Di Wedding star.
He captioned it “Bride to be. My dearest darling @sonamkapoor. Choti si bachchi dekhte dekhte badi ho gayi”
In the video, Anupam Kher is seen saying, “Look at the beautiful girl. Congratulations, much in advance”
The wedding will be an intimate affair and both the families involved, the Kapoors and Ahujas have requested people to ‘respect the family’s need for privacy.’ It will be a two days affair with the mehendi ceremony on May 7 and the wedding on May 8 in the afternoon following the Sikh traditions.
On the work front, Anupam Kher is shooting for “The Accidental Prime Minister” – which is an upcoming biographical political drama film directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte and written by Hansal Mehta.
The film stars Anupam Kher as Manmohan Singh, the economist and politician who served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014 under the United Progressive Alliance. The film is based on the 2014 memoir of the same name by Sanjaya Baru.
It is scheduled to release on 21 December 2018.
