#Sridevi honoured with the prestigious #NationalAward posthumously for her stellar performance in Mom, and actor #AnilKapoor is proud and finds it “heart warming”.
Late actress Sridevi received the award for her last film MOM where she played a mother who is out to avenge the rape of her daughter. Producer husband Boney Kapoor along with daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor received the award on actress behalf and Anil Kapoor is proud.
Anil Kapoor shared a picture of Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor on his social media profile and expressed his feelings. He wrote, “Such a proud & heartwarming moment for all of us to watch these beautiful people accept an honor for the most incredible person there ever was! #Sridevi #NationalFilmAwards @BoneyKapoor #JhanviKapoor #KhushiKapoor”
To mark the day special, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor donned her mother’s saree for the occasion.
The 65th National Film Awards were held at the Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani, Minister of State, Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore handed over the awards. Actress Sridevi won the Best Actress award posthumously.
On the work front, Anil Kapoor is currently promoting Race 3 and amidst work commitment preparing for his daughter, Sonam Kapoor’s wedding to Anand Ahuja.
Janhvi Kapoor is also shooting for her debut Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khattar.
