Filmmaker #RajkumarHirani dropped another poster of Sanjay Dutt's biopic titled #Sanju and #RanbirKapoor dressed as Sanjay, the resemblance is uncanny!
Rajkumar Hirani shared the new poster on his Twitter account. He captioned it, “One more 2016 look of Ranbir as #Sanju! Will post 90’s look tomorrow. #RanbirKapoor #RajkumarHiraniFilms @VVCFilms @foxstarhindi”
Sporting a blue-shirt, denim and boots, the poster reminds you of the day Sanjay Dutt walked outside of Yerwada Jail as a free man. With the vermillion mark on his forehead, Ranbir seems to have completely slipped into the skin of his character. He holds a grim expression which is completely devoid of his boy-next-door charm we have earlier seen in his films.
Sanju is an upcoming biographical film based on the life of Indian actor Sanjay Dutt, directed and written by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt in various stages of his life.
Apart from Ranbir, the movie features an impressive ensemble, which includes names like Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Karishma Tanna, Manisha Koirala, Divya Khatri, Jim Sarbh, Vicky Kaushal, Tabu and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
The film is set to be released on 29 June 2018.
