Emmay Entertainments enter into web format with their 12th Project titled #Hasmukh starring talented stand-up comedian #VirDas and #RanvirShorey.
The official handle of Emmay Entertainment just made the official announcement along with cast details. It said, “A day of new beginnings. For our 12th production, #Hasmukh, we venture into the web format! Directed by our dearest @Nikgonsalves and starring the brilliant duo of @thevirdas and @RanvirShorey , we’re excited for this one!”
The shot for the web series has already begun, Vir Das tweeted about the first day of the shoot. He wrote, “First day begins for #Hasmukh Thank you to @EmmayEntertain @TheWeirdass @ApplauseSocial @nikkhiladvani @nairsameer and the whole team for giving life, passion, and 'killer' creativity!”
Comedian-actor Vir Das and Ranvir Shorey will be working with filmmaker Nikkhil Advani on upcoming dark comedy Hasmukh. Sameer Nair-headed Applause Entertainment, the content studio from the Aditya Birla Group, is backing the project.
Apart from this show, Vir has been signed on by ABC for a new hour-long weekly dramedy FBI series Whiskey Cavalier, produced by Warner Bros.
Netflix has also ordered two additional live stand-up comedy specials from Vir, the first comedian out of India to have a Netflix original special.
