#DharmaProductions is all set to turn up the heat in summers next year, as #TigerShroff, #TaraSutaria and #AnanyaPandey starring #StudentOfTheYear2 will release in May 2019.
Karan Johar dropped an official poster of SOTY2 along with release date on social media. He captioned it, “Summer 2019!!!! 10.05.2019 !! 10th MAY 2019! Summer gets hotter!!! @punitdmalhotra @iTIGERSHROFF #Ananya #Tara @apoorvamehta18 @DharmaMovies @foxstarhindi #StudentOfTheYear2.”
The upcoming romantic drama is directed by Punit Malhotra. It is a sequel to the 2012 film, Student of the Year. The film stars Tiger Shroff as the main lead opposite two debutantes Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey.
The film is distributed by Fox Star Studios and produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film was earlier scheduled for release on 23 November 2018 but now it will hit the theatres next year.
Tiger Shroff also tweeted about the new release date and the poster. He wrote, “Summer 2019 here we come #SOTY2 @karanjohar @punitdmalhotra @apoorvamehta18 #Tara #Ananya @punitdmalhotra @DharmaMovies @foxstarhindi.”
The movie marks the debut of Tara Sutaria, who is relatively new to cinema world, and Ananya Pandey, who is daughter of veteran actor Chunky Pandey.
